And I for one welcome our new electronic overlords.
seriously, i have my eyes on the pixelicious (yet still affordable:) Nikon d70 and have been wishing for a device that i can carry around that can hold both my music AND be a backup for my images. (i haven't been too keen on spending the bucks for a high capacity CF card)
(random desperate shout): where can i get these 2.9 billion forms of electronic media?!
(equally desperate answer): maybe they're in this truck!
have them laying about the tower in heaps dictated by the length of your cables. i lost my side panels about 2 years ago and the last thing i remember was trying to get them on only to find that i had a LOT of my cables wrapping outside the cases support members. since then i've not got a single thing screwed to my case. "my computer" refers to the pile of sparking wires under and around my desk. my fans basically just keep the air from getting stale around my desk:)
is there anybody listening? does anybody see whats going on?

this has really hit me as the point at which i understand and see with great clarity the times that we live in and what a mess everything is. perhaps the higher level of this "food chain" will end up devouring itself. perhaps the open source community should start an org for musicians that only care about creating good music.

i realize that it's people like me that fuel the "multiple-release" process. sorry everybody.
the sad part is that i'm an architect by study, working in IT (no background), a gadget freak, AND paying nyc rent.
anyone know where i can find discounted ramen?
why not?
on a serious note, does that mean that the power company would have its own switching system? i don't know how things work ;)
