Blizzard have done the same for a year or so on their Warcraft forums.
A large majority of trojans these days are designed to steal game login details for World of Warcraft because the accounts are worth a lot of money.
This is really strange.
I ran Acid3 but Chrome version 1.0 only gets a score of 79.
Quite a few months ago I tried a nightly of Chromium which was getting 100/100 - so, what's happened to that?
Looks like the article forgot games such as Half Life 2, Doom 3, Far Cry, World of Warcraft, UT2004, Call Of Duty and Splinter Cell.
These are excellent examples of creative products, which made millions for the companies, and still do - especially WoW.
In my experience the girls I know actually prefer playing Dead Or Alive 3 as the women characters with attitude & huge bouncing breasts rather than play "cute" and "girly" games - they get some kind of escapism out of it, just like us men do when we fire up Rainbow Six...
In other words, Microsoft is learning lessons from open source software and making IIS more like Apache httpd.
That's exactly what I was thinking recently when I had to start learning ASP.NET/C#.
In ASP.NET you have to put your security instructions into a text file called "web.config" -.htaccess anyone?
No you don't.
I have been running the final release downloaded from MSDN for a couple of weeks and I'm using Firefox 1.0.3 to post this, while I listen to mp3s on Winamp and talking to my mates using Teamspeak.
In my experience IE7 will transform wireless relationships, repurpose frictionless models, harness visionary infomediaries and furthermore iterate end-to-end experiences.
I think I speak for us all when I say that we can look forward to an exciting new e-technology era where we can deploy plug-and-play e-services and engage mission-critical e-commerce at the click of a button, which will serve to enhance scalable e-business and orchestrate bleeding-edge content.
C:\Users\Public is in Vista, it's even in XP under something like C:\Documents and Settings\Shared Documents.
Wouldn't happen with Blizzard, they are too busy making Starcraft 2 and the next-gen WoW.
You could be on to something with this. Maybe not flash memory but I can certainly see it being done with data DVDs full of the latest tracks.
In theory, this could be the true intentions of Conficker.

Would anybody like to explain what exactly "Netbeans" is, in simple language for us "normal" developers?
You never needed to anyway, the Google Accounts sign-in is a central login which gives you access to GMail, Groups, Video and everything else.

I submitted this story about 30 mins ago but it looks like someone beat me to it.
This torrent currently has 30221 downloaders.
I'd say that "readily available" would be a gross understatement...
Mirrordot or any of the other /. mirrors are no good if the site is already down.
Now stop trolling, there's a good boy.

Everyone knows that error messages can be the biggest clue towards a vuln.
One I got was this:
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
By using this URL:
http://www.hackiis6.com/%3C%3E
And another:
The system cannot find the file specified.
http://www.hackiis6.com/?*/%22!
And another:
The web host www.hackiis6.com:8080 is not accessible.
http://www.hackiis6.com:8080/c$
Completely stupid URLs but I did get different messages for all 3 (which were non-standard), so maybe this will help somebody who has a clue...
Catwoman was hot, what's wrong with you? :)
No you don't.
