    C:\Users\Public is in Vista, it's even in XP under something like C:\Documents and Settings\Shared Documents.

    Blizzard have done the same for a year or so on their Warcraft forums. A large majority of trojans these days are designed to steal game login details for World of Warcraft because the accounts are worth a lot of money.

    This is really strange. I ran Acid3 but Chrome version 1.0 only gets a score of 79. Quite a few months ago I tried a nightly of Chromium which was getting 100/100 - so, what's happened to that?

    Looks like the article forgot games such as Half Life 2, Doom 3, Far Cry, World of Warcraft, UT2004, Call Of Duty and Splinter Cell.
    These are excellent examples of creative products, which made millions for the companies, and still do - especially WoW.

    In other words, Microsoft is learning lessons from open source software and making IIS more like Apache httpd.
    That's exactly what I was thinking recently when I had to start learning ASP.NET/C#.
    In ASP.NET you have to put your security instructions into a text file called "web.config" - .htaccess anyone?

    Everyone knows that error messages can be the biggest clue towards a vuln.

    One I got was this:
    The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
    By using this URL:
    http://www.hackiis6.com/%3C%3E

    And another:
    The system cannot find the file specified.
    http://www.hackiis6.com/?*/%22!

    And another:
    The web host www.hackiis6.com:8080 is not accessible.
    http://www.hackiis6.com:8080/c$

    Completely stupid URLs but I did get different messages for all 3 (which were non-standard), so maybe this will help somebody who has a clue...

    I have been running the final release downloaded from MSDN for a couple of weeks and I'm using Firefox 1.0.3 to post this, while I listen to mp3s on Winamp and talking to my mates using Teamspeak.
