Did you suffer a large head wound? Killing off a character is not relinquishing control.
If so... Lets look at the long list of things you could try and profit over and get sued...
I wish I could give you more points also. Exactly what I was thinking. The OP is being paid to write software for the company he works for, the OP is smoking crack.
How is Data that is already public be leaked? AFIAK the data was public when the website was published, if it was not then that data was out in the open for more then a few days anyway.
The Difference Engine by William Gibson and Bruce Sterling - Historical Fiction about Babbage.
The Ghost from the Grand Banks by Arthur C Clark - extensive subplot around chaos and fractal theory.
You can also make an argument about the Foundation series from Asimov being math based. The entire series is predicated on using math to predict the future and Humanities actions.
The last ghost recon has sold 1.03 million units so far world wide. Which assuming the 95% piracy rate means 20.6 million units would have been sold or 14.7million units at the 93% piracy rate.
The original Bioshock on xbox360 only moved 2.53 million units worldwide, and we can assume a very low piracy rate as it was on Xbox 360 only. That game was a huge hit, the Last Ghost Recon did well not amazing.... So you are saying that between 5-9 time more people played Ghost recon vs Bioshock? Yes the lat Ghost recon has cross platform but even if you take that into account...
My thoughts exactly. Quickbooks works, the format is transferable to almost everything. You know the taxes will work out, and hell buying it itself is a business writeoff.
I am all about open source solutions for small offices, but do not skimp on your financial software. It will pay off much more in the long run.
The fact that quickbooks can handle everything from POS to inventory to payroll with no issues and little to no training, makes it a very obvious choice.
But in order to have a trusted SSO you need something like facebook or google, and there are going to be tradeoffs. Personally google, is bad as that PW has way to much private info tied to it. Facebook can function as a catchall for less restrictive security needs for a generic SSO...
The real reason holding it back is people that make the websites are either to lazy to include it. ie blogging sites. Or want increased security aka financial sites.
1st You understand that Hybrids with regen braking makes more sense in SUV's look at the Chevy hybrid trucks awesome gains for in town milage.
Why reinvent that wheel, if your going to do this look at Natural gas instead of Diesel.... Look at turbines on constant velocity driving a generator... These all make more sense then what you are proposing...
Marathon was the 1st full featured FPS. Sure Wolfenstien and Doom beat it, but Marathon was the first true 3d game. Doom was actually a 2d game that faked the vertical component.
Marathon was the first that allowed networked game play. Had all the major multiplayer modes, king of the hill, tag, DM etc. Marathon was really the seminal FPS that set the stage for all other games. It is still impressive in the level design and storytelling given the minimal resources available at the time. It beat Unreal and Quake by a few years to the market.
This is the end of an epoch. For those of us lucky enough to be around from the first steps of the Internet as we know it today, what you have created has become a part of our lives, an indispensable news source, source of humor, and knowledge of all things that matter to us. Let us not forget the internet term that you accidentally created. We will tell our children what being slashdoted means, when they use it with no idea of from whence it came.
I salute you sir! Good luck in all your future endeavors, Slashdot is not dead, and long live Slashdot!
The Roadster is on the same platform as the Exige/Elise. While it may not be on the same DOT waiver, Lotus is shutting down the tooling for that platform. The only reason I am saying it may not be on the same DOT waiver is I cannot find that part of the DOT website.
Either way the article is wrong, for one reason or the other that platform will no longer be made, this is really old news in the auto community. It is not being stopped because it was a failure.
Exactly, the Elise/Exige losses the DOT waiver for the old standard airbags later this year, hence the stoppage of sales of the Elise/Exige and Tesla Roadster.

I was thinking the exact same thing!
which is what I meant... but I was too excited for an actual first post...
Do not use comcast DNS... just use googles.

Is it me or does everyone fail to think it is a reference to something other then 2010....
why would you not wear a seatbelt? That just seems stupid... What is the downside of wearing one.

SO let me get this striaght...
I pay 50 cents a year to use dollar bills and not have a pocket full of change like I do when I am in the UK?
I'm totally OK with this.

Works fine from iOS or Mac OS... They should have stated that on the website. When I use windows it just says try again later....
I find the free MS product excellent, unobtrusive and very very effective. I have way less issues then anyone I know with norton....
Lets do some math....

Anyone else see the math issue?

Sorry Yelp,
You had a good run but it appears that Google will be destroying you in the next year.
Yours Truly,
A future former yelp user
I think Bellisario should sue... They totally ripped off the Airwolf intro music.
On a side note I love how they took the festo smart bird video and dirtied it up to look military lol...
