    Anyone notice how the first three movies all had a good chunk of time allocate to space/ship battles? While the new movies have practically none? I hope those X-wing looking thngs are indicative of things to come. Though, I am disapointed at not seeing any Z-95s.

    I disagree with that statement entirely. The majority of Kanji symbols can be found in Chinese symbol set; there are some exceptions where the Japanese invented their own characters such as the symbol for cultivated feild (hatake). Most of the katakana are radicals in chinese characters, though I haven't been able to find a similar corespondance with the hiragana.

    The converse cannot be said for Chinese characters. There are a large amount of chinese characters that don't exist in Japanese, compared with a small amount of Japanese kanji and phonetic characters that don't exist in chinese.

    Reminds me of my 1st year where I learned why living in residence sucks... the walls are paper thin, the food stinks and the internet sucks. Do what I did - get a real place off campus.

    My philosophy on self awareness is that an being is self aware when it has the capacity to perceive how other beings perceive it, or the world. I.E. being able to look through someone else's eyes.

    The fact that I can *play* a CD means that I can pipe the output to say oh a file somewhere and use that as a master copy. If I can read the data even once then I can get around the copy protection. Of course they could start making unreadable CDs but I don't think they would sell too well.
