It's the same as saying that the 2D GTA games are the same thing as the newer GTA games.
It's funny, because a lot of times the people who complain about all of the mario titles "being the same" are the same people who run out to grab every "Need For Speed" title that comes out.
I don't know if this matters or not, but quicktime 7 will not install on windows 98, while windows media player will.
That rules out H.264 for people with windows 98. Since we don't know their target audience, I don't know if that is an issue. My grandma still has 98, and I'm sure a lot of older people have it as well.
Your comment made me think of another scenario. Sony could not release a price, but make it suggest that it may be expensive but they are doing their best to control the cost.
If someone is torn between the 360 and the PS3, they may hold off on the 360 to make sure they have enough $$ for the PS3. If Sony can make people think that the difference in value between the 360 and PS3 is more than the difference in cost, people may hold out for the PS3.
A lot of deep sea life is red, since it is the hardest color to see in very dark conditions. Some deep sea predators have eyes that are unusually receptive to red. Perhaps if a giant squid gets close to the surface, with better light, there is a massive red blob attracting/blinding them.
To be fair, I have lived in both states and they both have ups and downs.
How does NJ rank in Asparagus and Eggplant production? I think PA is 2nd for eggplant, while NJ is #1. I was able to retain my NJM insurance when I moved to PA. Pennsylvania was smart enough not to vote for GWB both times as well, but only thanks to Philadelphia. I've heard it best put as "Pittsburgh on one end, Philadelphia on the other, with Alabama in between."
A lot of NJ is very nice, but other parts are complete trash, worthy of being called the armpit of the nation. Consider that most people who catch a flight to NJ end up in Newark, which reall y is quite a dump. Take a train, and you might see Elizabeth, etc.
There are a lot of not-so-nice places which are the first things people see when visiting the state. Cross over from Philadelphia, and BAM! You're in Trenton. Don't get off at Perry St if you want to live. Then again, there are plenty of depressed areas in Philly.
Re-read that. Pennsylvania is hardly covered. The BroadbandAccess and V CAST is only available in large cities. The NationalAccess is available in a much larger area, but only offers 60-80 kbps with 144kbps burst. 60-80kbps for $60/month on top of a cell charge is not worth it.
All I really remember those cards doing was saving "ghost data" in mario kart. Other than small things, games saved to the cart itself. The only stuff they put on the memory cards was optional stuff.
At school I foolishly had the case off on my computer, which I kept under my desk. The PC speaker was attached by sticking it in a small indentation, but it was not very sturdy.
I leaned over to grab something from the fridge and bumped the case. The speaker popped out, and the metal leads on the wires touched the bottom of the case. It started shrieking louder than I had ever heard a PC speaker chirp. Smoke started pouring out of the case. I tried the power button, but it would not shut off. In a panic, I pulled the plug from the UPS, and it went "EEEEeeeeeerrrmmm - "
I waited several minutes (after opening the window) and pulled the speaker out. The insulation on the wires was charred and crumbling. There was a nice twisted scorch mark about 4 inches long on the inside bottom of the case.
Then the smoke alarm in the dorm went off.
I lost the PC speaker then, but the motherboard & video card both died about 6 months later. I was really amazed that it did not die sooner.
They had them for $10.00 / 7 pack at home depot 40/60 equivalent, commercial electric (house) brand. They stopped carrying them, and now only offer two packs for $7.00.
Where are you finding these 90 watt equiv for $0.99? I don't think my electric company offers any coupons, but I should call and ask.
What does it look like in the morning when we fall back? Don't we have the same lights on in the morning that we would have on at night? I guess I don't turn the TV on in the morning, but I would have to guess that the benifit would be marginal at best.
I've been replacing lights that we tend to keep on for an extended period of time with compact fluorescent bulbs as the incandescent ones burn out. I have to imagine that if Americans replaced half of their incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescents the margin would be much greater.
It can be hard to justify a the cost of a $3.00 spiral to a $0.50 incandescent bulb, though. Mine have been going strong for 2 years now, rather than replacing them every 6 months or so.
How long until we see something along the lines of GTA: Drive-in Theater? It would be a mix of GTA and WoW. You drive your stolen car to the theater to watch a movie with hundreds of virtual "friends" As you level up, you get to watch better movies.
I don't think it said that the tapes were not encrypted. I read it as they were going to send it over the internet encrypted. That doesn't mean that it is not encrypted w/the current process. If he had just said that they would send it over the internet instead, it would sound much worse!
I watched the Iron Mountain guy show up at our building. I was curious to see if he locked the van up before he went in. He did, but I was kind of surprised to see the lock for the back door of the van placed on the side of the van.
Really, though, it's just a step up from UPS. If someone really wanted the tapes, these vans are not bulletproof. If a person, or group of people REALLY wanted those tapes, they could get them.
That's why ours are encrypted with PGP.
I haven't read anything about citigroups's tapes, and if the contents were encrypted or not. Let's hope they were.

The gamecube had 12 launch titles.
I would hardly call Mario 64 a sequel. What was it a sequel of?
The article was posted in December of 2002. I guess the analysts were a bit off!

Hey!
I resemble that remark!

Yep. The newer section of the neighborhood has two-way cable, but not the older section.
I just hope that verizon lays some fiber through here for FIOS.

My Grandma just got DSL, and she lives pretty far away in Sandy Lake, PA. I'm less then a mile from Allentown, and I can't get DSL or two-way cable.
Since Google is taking Microsoft employees, Microsoft is trying to beat them to the punch!
Grim Fandango was a great game, but it did not sell well. Perhaps people found Grim Fandango's graphics to be a distraction?
Why do I get the feeling that I will now get spam trying to sell me magic pills that will regenerate my member with 10x growth? Or give me a 3rd nut?

My multi player server browser has crashed ever since 10.3. I use Only Mortal to query servers because of this.
Now, it will probably be fixed!

It's free.
You just have to have a DS and a wireless hotspot to connect to.

You have it all wrong. The network interface would only be able to receive data. Coconuts only go so far, you know.
damn, i missed it.
anyone save the contents?
