I just hope the White House doesn't decide this is a good example to follow. If so I am going to go find an island somewhere and start living there because I am not afraid of fish and I am afraid having an elected government without anyway for us the people who elect to be able to know what those we elected are actually doing.

I don't know what money you are talking about. If you are thinking about US currency its actually paper made from cloth. From what I remember about it the place that makes the paper takes denim and puts it through several baths and other processes to break it down into pulp and then makes paper from that pulp. The only difference between this type of paper and that made from plants directly is that the plant matter was first processed to make cloth.

    Really you are a sheeple.

1 - Who asked here, was it a security guard and did they actually confirm that she heard it etc. Also not answering questions is not proof of guilt or anything else, mostly its just for annoyance: how many random people have asked her what she was doing with a breadboard on her shirt.

2 - A person not a sheeple is not someone with good degrees -- in fact many people with degrees are sheeple -- sheeple are just people that follow the conventions and traditions that are becoming omnipresent in our world. Work 5 days a week, come home watch network tv, expect to stand in lines in the airport for obscene amounts of time because they are paranoid about terrorist because the president and the rest of the white house thinks terrorism costs more lives then starvation/poverty and then base all their actions on the elimination of terrorism. Blah Blah anybody who isn't a sheeple is someone who isn't mainstream.

3 - The security officers at airports are supposed to be trained in bomb and other "terrorist" devices identification. With my limited knowledge of bombs I know that a breadboard is not a bomb. The security guards are not supposed to stop people that make the sheeple nervous. While a briefcase with wires sticking out might be worth investigating some things shouldnt be. I suppose with the number of people running off the cliff to making everybody the same boring mush we will eventually have to strip have a full orifice check and then put on "flying clothes" to board planes and then buy supplies and clothes from the airport on the otherside. hey the airports would make a profit and it would help security tenfold so lets do it, no more carryons, no more luggage, and everybody can only wear the same thing and nothing can be threatening. Only then the ninja terrorists would arise.

You also have to consider that for every death and lawsuit if the company makes X dollars from the product sold and has to pay Y for the lawsuit. if the product's manufacturing cost (parts, labor, etc) is less the X-Y then they have made a profit. So if a company makes 10 million dollars from a product for every lawsuit, the average lawsuit is 5 million dollars, but the cost to manufacture enough of the product to make 10 million dollars is only 2 million then the company walks away with 3 million dollars. The risk assessment of this situation is surely looked into for products or manufacturing techniques that can cause litigious deaths.

  13. I for one dont have a problem with this on Wii Uses Elliptic Curve Cryptography For Saves · · Score: 1, Insightful

While encrypting the save files saved on the hard drive might seem like a logical step to keep people from cheating I don't think it will have much effect. I don't believe that cheating on games that you play by yourself or with friends on the same system (opening up maps for the multi player when you don't have any urge to play the solo game all the way through for one example) is in anyway wrong. However if the save file on the Wii effects online play versus people you don't know then well we have a problem. BUT I am sure that Nintendo doesn't do that since to do that would definitely make online playing a joke when the save files get hacked, and they will get hacked.

Additionally those that would of hacked the save files to install mods are not a majority of players on any system. Most people who own a console do not have the skill set or urge to install mods. While encrypting the save files will slow down the hackers it will most likely not stop them, so unless Nintendo did something stupid and made the Save files have full authority over online play encrypting the save files with elaborate means is just a waste of the players time as the games have to take longer to save.

I did look at the page and having heard arguments for it in the past I didn't not look at all of the supporting arguments provided on said page. That said, there is at least one flaw to the argument that we are living in a simulation of post humans or from other sources. This is the same as one of the many arguments against the existence of God. If we are living in a simulated universe brought about by some other means what is preventing said means from being a simulation also. Additionally, if it is impossible for us to detect and has no real effects on our lives then why even think that it exists. In my opinion considering that we live in a simulation is nothing more than a thought exercise and shouldn't be taken seriously because for one considering that it is true could very probably imply an infinite chain of simulations and also because even if we are living in a simulation we cannot tell the difference.

Disclaimer: If I am living in a simulation, I probably shouldn't be thinking about it because I might cause a divide by zero or an infinite loop somewhere in the simulation's code.
