I just saw an ad as I opened this page that claimed that staying with Windows was much cheaper then switching to Linux. Isent that blatent enough for you?
Who says we agree that everyone has the right to an attorney? And cases that have to go to trial is a completly different issue. Regardless of the outcome of this trial the kid is still gonna be tried for his crimes in a seperate court. This is simply a get rich quick law suite that might buy the kid a leaner sentance. If he did it the kid should get life regardless of why he did it. And according to the article they are pretty damn sure he did it. If this kid gets anything less then life the lawyer is ripping off society. Stupid law suits like this just tell kids that it is ok to do stupid shit like this cause I can just blame someone else.

These copies of our canon, although 100s of years older then the Leningrad Codex, are often to the letter acurate to them. So even though we possess none of the autographs we can rest assured that they have maintained accuracy. Along with our canon at qumran we also found several non canonical books which some belive the Catholic church attempted to suppress. Christians who base their entire lives and arguments on the bible will fall short. Clement, one of the early church faters, wrote several letters which he called "inspired". He also gave us evidence that he had studied various Gnostic and deutoronomical works. For a broader perspective on christianity one must look into all the religions and beliefs of those who claim to know Yahweh. The Apocrypha, Nag Hamadi Parchments , The Koran, and the Book of Enoch should be studied and considered. The bible was simply a selection of letters that were idiot proof and gave straight forward anwsers that required little questioning of ones faith. Its kinda like an idiots guide to God. I should have the right to offer an alternative idea to a speculative theory. There is no way to prove that we evolved from apes because there is no one who was there to document it; just like there is no way to prove God created everything because there was no one there to see it. No one is saying that evolution is not in itself a sound theory. The real issue is the idea of man being sentient and and having emotions rather then simply instinct. So if someone is so inclined to put a sticker on a text book then let them and you can stick as many stickers as you want in my bible.

In Canada we do not have access to iTunes (becasue we are legally allowed to share music and old Jobs doesent think it is worth the effort) Even though we can share music in Canada I would buy it off the music store. If only it worked with Linux.

Last semester I was really strapped for cash and decided not to buy any textbooks. I found out that I dident really need them anyway. When I did I borrowed from people in my dorm. Thats a little piece of info "they" dont want you to know about. Hurray for saving like 400$.
So, people in fact love when the machine works in a way resembling behaviour of real-life objects, but it seems that only when the "spatial" application is a web browser: they accept the book metaphor with web pages, but reject the drawer metaphor with folders and files. Sometimes they even abuse the physical metaphor of tabbed browsing by opening multiple pages - not subpages of the same web site! - in multiple tabs of a browser window. I even know few people who never open more than one browser window, viewing all pages in tabs; I hope they do not try to glue a daily set of newspapers together before reading them..
Whats this crap about abusing the metaphor? I can use my browser anyway I want. I happen to like only having one instance of firefox open ever. I thought opesource was about choice. Our banks are awesome. It could have happened to anyone. In fact our banks are so great that in 1930 when the stock market crashed and the world was sent into the depression only one candian bank went out of business. 100's of American banks went under. The reason that only one Canadian bank went under was because of bank chains (something American banks have only reasently caught on to). The Canadian dollar has and will be again higher then the US. The fact is that we have a better economy and we will continue to if we elect Martin. So vote liberal on the 28th and we will see who has the big scary dollar.
What is the point? It just makes it anoying to download music. Thus I hate the music industry more and am willing to take 10 minutes to find a version of "My Salsa" that doesent make a hideous beeping noise. What does the RIAA think? That if they deafen us with their fake files we will no longer be able to hear and will not download anymore music. It is actually the opposite I make people angry and therefore more persistant. It is like saying "To stop shoplifting we have decided to make fake CD's that kick you in the ass when you open them." That would just make theifs mad and beat your head in with a baseball bat.
Why cant I play iTunes DRM music on Linux. If Apple is the brave new world then why do I need an OS that I payed for to run their music. Apple seems to be alot more 1984'ish then Microsoft ever was. The only reason those RIAA dicks even care avout this is becasue sooner or later the artists will realize that they dont need the recording industry. Speach is free, music is speech; it should be free. I should be free to play it on my free Linux OS. Iam not saying Artists shouldent make money. But they arent making any from CD sales anyway. Its just the recording industry this program is so called "hurting". Even if I did remove the DRM from my music why would I want to give it to people who did not pay for it? I just wann listen to "The Darkness" in xmms. Give a guy a break.

Where have you been? There has been a windows version of photoshop since like the early 90's and it runs damn fine too.
