Promised, no, but it was one of the first applications we were looking at when Java was first announced and before browser applets became a big thing. Think about a cross between the JVM and VMWare's migration capability with some instant suspend / resume thrown in. IIRC, there were even articles about this sort of thing in DDJ.
Cisco still ships IOS. Apple made a licensing deal. That was the second round. Cisco also owned iPhone but wasn't using it. That may be the one that Apple bought.
Boring, boring, boring, better, climax, done. That and you'd have to film the almost erotic Captain Crunch chapter and the expensive furniture / stockings stroke piece.
If they pare it down for mobiles, I'd love to see it built back up from that for a desktop version. Same base build with extra modules. Done right, it should address a lot of the speed / size concerns.
No need for advertising. Just copy ASIC, the privacy commissioner and some MPs into the correspondence. If that goes nowhere get a bored journalist to ask the government bodies what they're doing about this issue. Cheap, effective and puts the heat on people with legal protection.
I wonder if NSW does the 'accessory / facilitator' thing where if you help the criminal you get charged with the same crime. The provider can be a co-defendant.
Except he's a member of the fund and they've already admitted that they use money in the fund to fix these things. Unless the members file a suit for negligence (good luck) he'll be out of pocket when they get violated.
I have one I no longer use for firewood. A few swings and the drive isn't going to be readable. The platters are bent, scratched and have very wide cuts through them. The PCB isn't whole either.

Calibre does all of that for the Kindle too. As long as there's no DRM, it converts ePub into .mobi in the background.
They were previously only available from Angus & Robertson and Borders. Both of those went bust so they had to find a new supplier.
The Beatles are only half dead.
Also the reason the error tone on earlier Macs was 'Sosumi'.
That one was settled easily. As long as Apple Computer doesn't try to sell music, they're fine.
Even better when someone's iDevice can't talk to a Cisco AP. You need an [iI]OS update. Err...
The only other thing that came close to that level of frustration was all of the Need For Speed crap when I was working with NFS.

It's got a long reach.

Colin Hanks would be better age wise.
Scorsese doing Growing Pains? Next up, Tarantino does Seventh Heaven.

If he was a true Scotsman he'd have a tartan iPhone cover.
Yeah, OK, I'll read the entire post next time. (Didn't list place of work or employer.)
Maybe they've both listed the same company as a workplace. Unlikely, but possible.
I didn't have a manual, so damned if I can remember how I learned the spell names.
Not first person. Think 'Wizardry' in all its two color goodness.

Be careful of your use of 'Texas'. It isn't in Australia.
No, I'm updating Adobe junk.
What happens if you tell them "I don't have a computer?" That would have been amusing.
