Given that Microsoft were the ones to issue the problematic update in the first place, I don't think saying the NTFS drivers in a Windows live CD come from Microsoft is really any sort of recommendation.
Except maybe to scream.
You're right, there's never been any problems with other peoples' NTFS support, especially not when it's a critical recovery. I've never seen MS do things to mess with third party systems either.
Why not use a Windows live CD like Bart PE rather than Linux. It's easier for the people who've only ever used Windows and the NTFS drivers come from Microsoft.
It's usually not the internally developed/maintained web apps, but the proprietary apps from big-name vendors. Hell, OWA for Exchange and the other MS stuff works better with non-IE browsers than a lot of them.
Mine does. I use Firefox and it works fine. My original comment was about my employer's HR/Finance systems and not my bank. The bank may be a pack of lying scum, but their web interface isn't bad.
Please tell that to Oracle. I've only been allowed to use IE7 to access my payslips since July. At least they fixed the broken redirect loop when logging in with Firefox 3. They also dropped the requirement for that horrid POS, jInitiator.
I had my first fillings almost four years ago and the dentist had already stopped using drills. Mine were shallow so he used a mini sand-blaster. Mouth was full of grit after but better than the stories I've heard about drills. He said for deeper work they use a laser.
It was all electronics/recording devices the last time I had jury duty. You used to have to hand them to the Sheriff's officer as you went in to the box, but now it's only if you're actually empaneled. There was no 'ask,' it was a 'must' for us. I've gone three times, into the room four, into the box once and got challenged. They seem to change the setup every time. The last time they'd moved the court.
Some bugs are designed by a committee.
I get it, ULSER. Good one. They cause me that sort of stress too.
Finishing Oog's carcass.
I love Imac.
and FTFA:
Built-in screens made sense at the start of the computing age but they have thankfully gone the way of the dinosaurs.
Um...
Big Kev says "I'm excited." Oh, that's wrong in so many ways.
Almost as good as "Banned in Queensland." Bad Taste, Peter Jackson's first film proudly proclaims this on the case.
Consulates are often small parts of much larger buildings. Who's going to even know what they're protesting about?

Yes, there are costs to adopting open-source, that's the basic message when you use a bureaucrat to English translator.
How about these from TFA:
A 2007 AGIMO survey revealed that 68 percent of government agencies were either piloting or using open source software.
Centrelink, the Australian Bureau of Statistics and National Archives of Australia were known to use open source products;
Looks like it's getting a fair hearing.
I bet The Daily Show signs up Comedy Central. That $5 will get them a lot of mileage.
I think the Bill will fail.
I can see a bunch of humorous registrations. Show them how stupid the law is. Someone should register 'Anonymous.'
Actually, it's a constitutional monarchy. You may also want to look at the post-'75 changes because of John Kerr's actions.
And if the majority of people who can vote in a "democracy" don't - is it still a democracy??
Ever heard of compulsory voting?
Shadow finance minister, actually. Not a position you'd give a clown like Barnaby.

Then you're a perfect candidate for jury duty. They like the dumb ones.

Exactly. That's why they give you *gasp* a pen and paper!
Actually, they don't allow that here unless there are special requirements for the trial. No recording or communications devices and no notes.
I don't have to post my name and address because to repeat I'm NOT from or within the state of South Australia.
While you're at it, you might want to consider my user name.
How many homeless people are in the telephone directory?
True, all elections are rigged, no matter what you do, a politician always wins.
