I've been using the v.10 Community Edition on one of my older PCs for my little sister. It's easy enough for her, but powerful enough to run what I throw at it. I'll definately be upgrading to the Official Version now.
We made these at summer camp back in Junior High, not exactly news material. Must be a slow news day. Anyways, if you get a bigger capacitor, the charge is much greater. With a regular one from most camera's, you get barely enough shock to make someone yelp.
Do you guys think that anybody thought that we'd be at war with Germany after WWI? I'm sure we never knew about any war 20 years before it happened. The world changes, my friend.
Thanks to Wikipedia for the following:
Today gold is often kept as a hedge against the US dollar or other G8 "hard currencies".
In addition to other precious metals, it has several competitors as store of value: the US dollar itself and real estate (which of course is dependent on property rights recognized in a country). None of these has the stability of gold had, thus there are occasionally calls to restore the gold standard, or to move to a new standard based on ecological yield of natural capital, e.g. Global Resource Banking. Given the difficulty of assessing such standards as compared to the simple weighing of gold, it seems not likely they can really take hold.
Some privately issued modern currencies (such as e-gold) are backed by gold bullion.
My emails get routed to null at aol as well. Really sucks when trying to contact a client who uses AOL. Get the owner of the box (root access, some stupid AOL rule) to call the AOL Postmaster, stay on hold a bit, and you can get it all sorted out.
I mean, it's a World War 1/2 Fighter Pilot Flying around against super-advanced aliens, all the while with the soundtrack as the Stargate SG-1 theme. The writer is a genius.
Looks like a fancy Roomba
I do the same. I never actually seem to be "reading" books. It's like watching a movie for me!

Well 3 cheers to these fellows! I wonder how they got in if it's invitation only.

Lindon, Utah-based SCO claims that parts of Linux were directly copied from Unix, which SCO owns. Huh?
Will the priests be able to virtually molest the alter boys?

Gold is actually used more as an investment. It's worth quite alot of money, still.
Watch... they will sue them for having DOS in their name!
It seems like YRO, I mean, they were monitoring his email, they probably are monitoring ours!
It means either of 2 things: Bachelor of Philosophy (Philosophiae Baccalaureus) or Pointy Haired Boss (Dilbert reference)
I've stayed on hold much longer than that, for different things.

He mentions $US and $? What is the anonymous $ value?
