Please, no. Just let it get cancelled and go the way of the dodo like it should!
I have to disagree with that.
I'm not a Star Trek fan nor have I seen all of the movies.
I don't know all of the character names in any of the shows. In fact I hardly can recall the names of the main characters.
However, out of all of the TV shows that I have given a shot, including the other Star Trek series when they ran, I really enjoy Enterprise.
It is one of two shows that I try to watch every week and would hate to see it die off.
Out of all the crap that they try to shovel down our throats on national television, Star Trek is most certainly a relief from it.
For those who don't know, on the upper level is a computer on the defense side that opens up the main gate into the base. After you activate this, the screen goes blue with the infamous BSOD.
But that is his Elected right. For the American people to be able to call need for battle in harsh times is quite possibly the least strategic and responsive way to enter into battle.
The Commander-in-Chief has been given this right to call us into battle if he, our Elected official, deems it necessary. That is why he/she was elected. Unlike the days of the tea where The People had only the voice the Nobles wanted to hear.
And so as to where I'm not entirely OT, you do not have to be British to be Knighted. However, once Knighted you cannot use the Sir title in your name. Bill Gates is a classic example.
The Sharp Zaurus is being discontinued in the USA while in Japan they are coming out with a new model.
You can pick up a Sharp Zaurus 5500 from ebay for under $200.
I've had mine now for almost a year with hardly any complaints.
I never really used the original Sharp OS on it because of its limited capabilities, but OpenZaurus is a great alternative.
Its functionality as a PIM really sucks but its available packages is really extensive
Its really no biggie to install OZ and can be ran directly from an optional SD card to save space on your internal RAM (16MB I believe.) Plus it has a CF slot available for your favorite card (wireless, ethernet, gps, IDE, etc) and the serial at the bottom for rs-232 compliant devices.
It really has saved me time and trouble at work using a wi-fi cf card, vnc client or rdesktop (user machines or server), konqueror, and a sd storage disk to hold everything (including my mp3s.)
It kills my battery ( 1-3 hours continous,) but if I just plug it in while I'm at my desk I have no issues at all.

Either SCO has been hacked on seperate web servers (thescogroup.com was put up as alternative in case of DDos), they have a script that mirrors each other, or its SCO's new motto. Take your pick.
I kinda like it being SCO's new motto. Shows their company attitude and policy imo.
Fact: Yes the bomb is there
Fact: Yes the government is going to pull it up.
Opinion: They are retrieving for national security.
Reality: They are recovering it to
a) help their image
b) protect the environment (it is radioactive ya know)
c) To protect the innocent.
This thing is buried in mud as it is and is gonna take a lot of work to recover it.
It is currently located off of Georgia by about 120 feet? in approximatly 15' of water.
Our site has mobile users set up with local admin rights due to the fact they often travel overseas or are at sea for weeks if not months at a time. They CANT call the IT department to reinstall ArcGIS or WinFrog when MS fubars up. Yes they have stable machines. But in our time critical field, we can't take that chance. That is a reason for local admin usage. Of course they work regulary with a standard users rights. They're suppose to use admin only when needed.
Dont know on rather or not the government is required to go with the lowest bidder with some purchases, but most certainly not all.
Think about it, what would happen if MS lowered their costs on SW to hardly zip to compete with the complexities of Linux? If it cost cheaper to implement MS into their systems this bid, what would prevent MS from raising their price on the renewal? They would be able to outbid linux on first bid, then jack prices up on second time through and it would still be cheaper than migrating all of their data from Windows to Linux. Having the government forced to go with the lowest builder would put small companies out of buisness and contribute to the monopoly of others.
I've noticed a few other things weird about yahoo and its infamous bulk folder. For about a week and a half now my/. subscription has been placed their instead of my inbox. I had to use a filter to prevent its misdirection.
I'm currently working on a government owned ROV and am having serious issues with the display and control programs on the system. All of the software was developed by third party companies and own the source code to it. Now if I want to do any reworking of the software it has to be through them and they ain't cheap. So much for the taxpayer's dollar.

So does this mean it is legal for us to track official(police, ambulance, s.w.a.t., etc.) vehicles with the same method?
We pay for the roads that WE permit them to drive on. Shouldn't we be able to see how our tax dollars are spent on the road?
I could even imagine in car GPS trackers to alert you when an official comes within a given radius of you.
Google search of his e-mail brings up 161 posts.
And until someone somes up with another must-have reason (a "killer app"), the demand for higher speeds simply isn't there.
Heaven forbid the Doom 3 people get a hold of you.
You would have no need for a faster PC to see hell.
