    The SF Tenants Union got the two unit or less owner occupied exemption repealed about a decade back, and that pretty much destroyed the reasonable housing and caused a migration out of the city of people who were the ones that shared their homes below market.

    SF has got what it deserves; the people that live there created it. They would not have it any other way.

  10. Saving power saves heat and potentially extends lifespan. So it's a big deal; arguably as important or possibly MORE important than faster cycles.

    The ability to shrink size and still increase processing power while also reducing power consumption and heat generation is massive progress.

    I'm wandering if anybody is arguing Moore's Law is off now because it's been exceeded.

    What irritates me about you so-called "Libertarians" is that you'll call it "wealth distribution" when the government does it for the people, yet call it "free market" when the corporations, armed with the force and violence of the government behind them, essentially steal taxpayer funding via their special interest groups and government employee payoffs and other such unscrupulous and rampant corruption.

    It's why, when I meet someone that's say in their 20's, proclamations of their libertarianism I just chalk-up to youthful ignorance. But when someone in their 40's up claims their a libertarian, that's a real red-flag.
