I agree wholly. Actualy, my thesis wasn't too far from this subject. We can't just keep prescribing medication, we need to re-ground these people in real life.
You know, you're going to hate me, but I haven't gotten a single piece of spam yet on my gmail account, and usually only about 2-5 per day on my yahoo account. Stringing together a lot of German words into a single, sixteen character jumble, and using that as your account name (GMail, that is) seems to do the trick.
I really don't want them to improve Windows. Really. When I tell people to use Firefox, they say "But SP2 has a popup blocker! And I don't get spyware now!" I have no good reason to have people move to Free (as in FSF) Software, except for on principle and cost. And if they keep improving the OS, chances are they're going to lock out others who would be converts because they got fed up with MS's crap.
You can now buy a 64 MB stick for 20 dollars from a German band who are (I think) the first to distribute a new single on USB Sticks. Plus, the USB stick has a fashionable design of the band's logo on it. It's a good band if you like Punk Rock and/or German.
"Every revision control system has its supporters and detractors, but none is as polar as Arch. Either you hate it or think it is the best thing in revision control ever."
They forget those of us who have never heard of it before.
I enjoy it a lot. I can talk to people I meet on online dating services for essentially free. California, Maine, doesn't matter. I like the long distance aspect the best of all.
Vonage (rhymes with "pwnage", or at least it should). They had decent tech support, but I think it was irreconcilable. I'll try out the new technology before I cancel the old, but recommendations said I didn't have to worry. My internet is kids of crappy so that may account for the downtimes.
I had VoIP for about 3 weeks (early June to June 30) before I got too frustrated. It was down pretty frequently; not nearly as dependable as my AT&T line. I got an echo, and the sound quality never was as good as a phone. I just decided to stick to cellular access, and cancelled before I started another month of fees. I'm happy with AT&T.
I ordered the CD "Planet Punk" by die Aerzte on December 21st, and received it exactly 6 months later, June 21st. I have since stopped buying stuff from them. I don't care if it costs a few bucks more at bn.com, I want my stuff on time!
By the time Quake 5 or 6 comes along, it'll just be actually running around with a real machine gun. When you die, they bring you back to life.
SHH!!! Don't tell them! At the very least you could have not made a hyperlink and just insisted they google for it.

Wait, not reading "TFA" or "TFP" is abnormal?
No, the obvious winners would be Tetris, Mario, Zelda, and Vice City.
Oh? What did you choose?

One of their songs (written and sung in English)
A German song.
I extracted the bad code, but I'm having trouble getting it to run in WINE.
Just one more reason Linux isn't ready for the desktop.

So you mean moderators, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Linux written by Linus Torvalds back in the early 90's?
How he starts off the review saying essentially that nobody who isn't a lawyer should need this book.
I'm a developer; I know all I need to about OS development and the licenses.
Actually, it's the sociological theory of "Symbolic Interaction"
Support this, my friend!
Think about the "(YOU) CAN-SPAM act" and what is still going on. If anything, I'm getting more now that it has been passed.
Spam is more or less illegal. I still get plenty of offers to enlarge my penis every day. How does this help anything?
I'm still having trouble getting it to work in Wine.
...to get SpamAssassin.

Heartless Libertarian. He's a gun owner who lays things out straight.

You'd think the website of a museum whose *only feature* is streaming videos would have better sense than to submit itself to slashdot, but nooooo...
