    Canon has been using the same principle in a couple of lenses for some time now. The lenses themselves are pretty damn expensive but well regarded; I hope the telescope meets similar success.

    wouldn't it be run through Rosetta, thus having the x86 processor emulate a PPC processor that's emulating an x86?

    It was the first Death book that came to mind. I like the Watch books the most, too - I think my least favorite ones are the Rincewind books.

    I think it's more that it's the first in the series, because stuff that came afterwards (Small Gods, Hogfather, and Men At Arms come to mind) is, IMO, a lot better.

    they've got different approaches - the Zen Vision is a video player first and also a music player, where the new iPod is a music player with a large, video-capable screen, like the old iRiver H320.

    the ITMS could be a large source of revenue for Apple, while not being a large source of profit. iPods, however, are probably both.
