I built my own from parts I ordered from newegg.com! Saved me a fortune, although I still can't find a distro of RedHat optimized for a small-block Chevy...
BTW, it's worth noting that a lot of people I know HATE having two buttons on a laptop because they're always mis-clicking.
the plural of anecdotes is not data.
Is it just me, or has the WSJ taken over Apple rumor-mongering?
They already have a better track record than ThinkSecret... Nick DePlume must be pissed
when going from the G3 iMac to the G4, a redesign was necessary to facilitate the usage of the LCD display instead of the CRT.
the change from the G4 to the G5 revolved around the different thermal requirements of the G5 processor and the desire to make a more easily upgradeable package.
that's just what I read out of the other guy's comment, though.
..or just buy a CD a month (or two, if you're looking for used ones), and you have a format that's not locked in to any one company's player, freely transcodable, and won't disappear in the event of a hard drive crash.
the third generation of the Taipedong (sp?) missile is actually able to hit the West Coast. The guidance system is pretty bad, and they're just as likely to hit Vancouver as they are to hit Portland, but the capability is there.
This from my international relations professor; weirdly enough we were discussing this in class yesterday.
I'd ask if it'd run OSX86, but there's way too many buttons. Maybe if it had a scroll ball, though.

sounds like an inefficient H.264 codec instead of a hardware issue. maybe QT 7 Public Preview is the answer.

I like Inpple. It's clearly the breast.
You know what this makes me thing of? "Think of where we might be today if George Lucas had made all mine Star Wars movies."
I just laughed so loud I almost put my employment at risk.
Thank you.
other way around, I think:

(2) Do not eat iPod Shuffle.
I think that would do it.
because you don't own it, it's licensed to you.
but if you delete the file, they're not replacing it.
duh.
easy-as-fucking-pie. have you ever tried to make pie? it's surprisingly difficult to get the crust right.
just tell them it's a very large cheese grater.
afaik, there's no duty on kitchen gear.
...the hip-e looks like the unholy love child of an iMac G5 and an X-Box.
I, for one, welcome our new retail overlords.
Radiohead's OK Computer (1997) and Kid A(2000) were both intended to be listened to as whole albums.
Sigur Ros' Agaetis Byrjun (2000) and ()(2003) are in the same boat.
Squarepusher's Ultravisitor (2004) and Music is Rotted One Note (1998) do it, too.
