Also worth noting is that even on Amazon they're listed as "by Zune" instead of "by Microsoft"
Zune 30 GB Digital Media Player (Black) by Zune
That could just be so accessories and different colors are grouped together though, since it's referred to as the "Microsoft Zune" a couple of times in the description. But I would have to agree that the target consumer for the Zune doesn't view Microsoft as cool and they know it. What's funny is that their over the top attempts to seem trendy just make them seem the opposite.

No joke...I started learning what little programming I know with NQC on the Mindstorms. It's not that low-level, but the only programming courses offered in my high school were Visual Basic (which was taught by an algebra teacher which had never touched programming before) and C++ (with an equally poor teacher). You learn fast when you not only have to debug software but hardware as well.

Chornobyl "Ghost Town" story is a fabrication
e-POSHTA subscriber Mary Mycio writes:
I am based in Kyiv and writing a book about Chornobyl for the Joseph Henry Press. Several sources have sent me links to the "Ghost Town" photo essay included in the last e-POSHTA mailing. Though it was full of factual errors, I did find the notion of lone young woman riding her motorcycle through the evacuated Zone of Alienation to be intriguing and asked about it when I visited there two days ago.
I am sorry to report that much of Elena's story is not true. She did not travel around the zone by herself on a motorcycle. Motorcycles are banned in the zone, as is wandering around alone, without an escort from the zone administration. She made one trip there with her husband and a friend. They traveled in a Chornobyl car that picked them up in Kyiv.
She did, however, bring a motorcycle helmet. They organized their trip through a Kyiv travel agency and the administration of the Chornobyl zone (and not her father). They were given the same standard excursion that most Chernobyl tourists receive. When the Web site appeared, Zone Administration personnel were in an uproar over who approved a motorcycle trip in the zone. When it turned out that the motorcycle story was an invention, they were even less pleased about this fantasy Web site.
Because of those problems, Elena and her husband have changed the Web site and the story considerably in the last few days. Earlier versions of the narrative lied more blatantly about Elena taking lone motorcycle trips in the zone. That has been changed to merely suggest that she does so, which is still misleading.
I would not normally bother to correct someone's silly Chornobyl fantasy. Indeed, correcting all the factual errors and falsehoods in "Ghost Town" would consume as much space as the Web site itself. But the motorcycle story was such an outrageous fiction that I thought the readers of e-Poshta should know.

Actually, helicopters that small do exist. The design for the bladerunner came from proxflyer. They currently have a prototype with a 60mm rotor diameter and weight of 3.3 grams. However, it does only have a flight time of about 30 seconds which limits most practical uses for the time being.
There is a similar site called The Facebook for universities. You can only join if you actually go to one of the listed universities (they have alot). Since universities are basically like huge communities, it's basically the same idea. It's really quite useful, because you can see people that are in your classes, live in your residence hall, etc. It also has a quite extensive search function. So, for example, you could search for "freshman" "females" living in "yourdorm" whose interests include "heavy drinking" and "casual sex". Quiiiite useful... =)
If you want super short rounds in a game that doesn't even have to be fullscreen try tetrinet. I'll sit and play and when I lose quickly, I can chat with people or work on something while waiting for the next round to start. It's harder to multi-task with a fullscreen game...I lose patience alt-tabbing between things.
the PMP-120
They call is a "Portable Media Player"...20 GB, runs linux, looks pretty cool.
There's no price listed yet but I imagine that it's going to be pretty expensive.
