    from the US government to involve the private sector in space. There are hell many millionaires who would pay anything for nice moon or space trips. That should generate more than enough revenue than what NASA would need.

    Ofcourse you get what you pay for. Free software does not mean free, there is a service based business model based on it, and what you pay, the service you get. But you atleast can evaluate its usefulness without having to shell out a lot of money for something which is not very useful.

    if the product is good i.e. it does what it is supposed to do and the services are prompt and reliable. Product costs only once, service charges last till the the death of the product.

    It is possible that savings by outsourcing enable companies to employ more people (or pay more money) and put more emphasis for their core business while staill not exceeding their old budget. But I guess, the number of people getting benefitted would be quite less than the people who get unemployed and in the long run, it can be very dangerous.

    One thing I like about pdf files is the open standards though maintained by Adobe. If this is not an open standard, which I think is not, its not better than many free but proprietary tools which can achieve same effect, more or less.

    Is not is very similar to charge for the bug fixes in their own products which I think was held illegal by a court some years back? Afterall, viruses are nothing but exploits which take advantage of the windows bugs.

    I am more willing to buy a new game for 50$ then paying 100$. I can spend 100$ but its not what I am willing to spend. And, why should be an used thing sale should be a matter of concern. Somebody paid for that in the past, and you cannot force me to buy a newer version if I am happy with the old version.

    Its probably nice to compare different programming languages but comparing java with something like perl is stupid. Perl is a scripting language to do things more neatly than C/C++, but its not a replacement for Java in any sense. Comparing with C# is much better and should be more detailed.

    Does it get the information using windows (without booting windows?), or windows can update the external display using the API? . If its the former which I guess it is (using second for setting up the first),the idea is very close to information on a cellphone, and I think Linux can also be supported since it also can provide the same info, afterall its not using the hardware specially designed for windows.

    With big revenue gainer game like Grand Theft Auto confronted with the violent and nudity controversies etc etc...I expected them to have legal troubles but this much financial problem is beyond my expectations.
