Some of their other infrastructure is coming in the form of high speed rail, with many parts of it functioning already.
Which, of course, is such a success that they're running empty and have recently been slowed down for safety reasons. China has also removed the guy in charge of the high-speed rail build-out from his job and are pursuing criminal charges, which is of course how you reward someone who has done good work of significant actual value.
I assure you, Farnsworthâ"Hirsch fusors exist, fit the dictionary definition of "reactor", are well within the capabilities of teenagers to build, and do emit neutrons.
And I also assure you that when you bombard fissile material with neutrons, its rate of activity goes up, and that increase in activity makes it easier to detect the fissile material with radiation detectors.
Yeah, I was kinda annoyed that they didn't increment the version number all the way to 7.0 for Windows 7. Now what are they going to use for Windows 8, 6.2 or 7.0?
If backwards-compatibility stopped developers from writing software that took advantage of a backwards-compatible platform, then it would have also stopped developers from writing Windows 95 apps.
No, the reason nobody wrote OS/2 apps because nobody ran OS/2 2.x. Setting aside the various tricks Microsoft used to discourage OS/2 sales and IBM's inept marketing, the reason nobody used OS/2 2.x is because it needed 8 to 12 MB of RAM back when a computer came with your choice of 2 or 4 MB. By the time OS/2 was available in a size (Warp 3.0, 4 to 8 MB) that would run on the computers being sold in bulk (with 4 to 8 MB), Windows 95 was already in beta and everybody was busy developing for it.
If you want to maximize the window, double-click on the title bar.
(Okay, that does minimize instead on a Mac, but on the Mac, it's the minimize that's next to the close button. So in either case, the button right next to the close button is a function redundant with the main title bar.)
Cupcake is open, Donut is open, Eclair is open, Froyo is open, Gingerbread is open. Honeycomb is not open. Ice Cream Sandwich will be open. This is not complicated and requires no "doublethink".
If openness is important to you, avoid Honeycomb, just like you presumably are avoiding Symbian, iOS, PalmOS, webOS, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry OS.
Yes, it is about time. And China is showing absolutely no signs of reversing its net FDI flows, despite a couple of headlines overhyped by other people replying to me.
Oh, boy, a handful of headlines. Look, the BRICS all have net annual FDI inflows; they're importing capital, not exporting it. The Foxconn thing is like the US announcing a plan to export oil to Germany; we're an importer anyway, so on the aggregate level it doesn't actually mean anything. And this agreement is like the US and Germany lowering barriers to importing oil from each other; since neither is an oil producer, it just plain doesn't matter.
Brazil: Only major BRICS trading partner is China. Is major trading partner with US, Japan, Eurozone. Russia: Only major BRICS trading partner is China. Is major trading partner with US, Eurozone. India: Only major BRICS trading partner is China. Is major trading partner with US, Eurozone. China: No BRICS states among its major trading partners. Is major trading partner with US, Japan, Eurozone. South Africa: Only major BRICS trading partner is China. Is major trading partner with US, Japan, Eurozone.
So, the only BRICS that's an important trading partner from the perspective of any of the other BRICS is China, and none of the other BRICS are important trading partners from the Chinese perspective. That means the only BRICS currency of any real importance in inter-BRICS economic activity is the Chinese renminbi.
And what are the major characteristics of the renminbi? It neither freely floats nor is freely convertible, which means it's unusable as a reserve currency. Further, since the major components of its currency basket are the dollar, euro, and yen, any general move to the renminbi from those currencies would require China to buy them to maintain the "managed float".
Oh, and the agreement is only about credit and grants, not use in trade, which makes it particularly pointless. None of these countries are major investors in each other, or likely to be anytime soon. Is the Chinese government going to stop building plants in China to start building them in India? Really?
I figure a better explanation is that he's trying to shake down Apple for money. There's a reason why both progressive-left CREW and conservative-right Judical Watch list Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. on their corrupt politicians lists.
When is Anonymous going to hack Wikileaks as payback for Wikileaks hacking people to get stuff to report?
Five versions, because 3.6 is still getting maintained. 3.6.18 came out when 5 did, and 3.6.19 is scheduled to come out at the same time as 6.

I assure you, the people at Nature already know about the Farnsworthâ"Hirsch fusor.
Now we can have:

When is 1/2/11? January 2nd or February 1st? 2011 or 1911?
Silly. It's clearly February 11th, the year 1. Or 1901. Or 2001.
Epyks!
2018 is the important year, 20 after 1998 which was 20 after 1978.

Politicians are politicians, no matter where they're from.
Texas at least limits its legislature to meeting for 140 days every two years, and only pay the assholes $7,200 per year.
Hell, no. We'll raise 'em better than that, with discipline instead of Dr. Spock.

The use of the word "apps" to mean "computer applications programs" dates back to at least December 3rd, 1983.
They're elderly, so all we have to do is wait them out.
Well, we still haven't seen the license. But, assuming a real open source license (say, MS Reciprocal), it would be a big step to those goals.
And to improving VBA support in things like LibreOffice, too; VBA is a close relative of VB6.

Yeah, see, I already addressed this eleven hours before you posted. Maybe you want to check the thread before jumping to anecdotes.
