    After seeing Google Video, i'm somewhat curious... What is the point (money wise) that when google says they want to put broadcast TV in the archive, and the **IA's say to go to hell, Google just BUYS the media associations, and is done with it.

    I bet that the big G doen't have anything CLOSE to the funds to pull that off, but IANAMA (Market anylist).

    Thoughts?

    True story: Bought VHS tape was dropped on a hard surface and broken. With mild fuss and a little bit of care, a new-in-package blank VHS was unscrewed and had the tape replaced with the bought tape's. Only damage was some minimal fuzziness on the exposed portions of the tape.

    Now, if only the foil layer of a DVD could be remelted into a new peice of plastic.. :-D

    Actually, all they'd have to do is make $TAX_SOFTWARE use Apple X11, and bundle some type of toolkit.. Shit, just use JAVA, for pete's sake... Tax software isn't exactly taxing the CPU or anything nowadays.

    If option two, it would make him into somewhat of an automatic interracial scene, which would be somewhat novel, I say.

    You would be correct.. I didn't read the history page that closely.

    Therefore: "Here is a possible explanation as to how the USA got W and K, no documentation on this but sounds plausible. The USA had unofficially used N for North America (e.g., NBZ, Boston), also A for America. The letter "N" in morse is dah dit, adding a dah to N gives dah dit dah which is "K'. Letter "A" in morse is dit dah, adding a dah to A gives dit dah dah which is "W"."

    Aha, it Isn't, not as far as I have observed... Hence the minor verbal explosion and unsightly ranting that I started with. Be glad that you have them (the perks), but don't let others without them use you for them.

    FWIW, iBooks only count to 12, at least the 12 inch models...

    Does anyone have a 12 inch powerbook, and if so, what sort of keys do they have?

    I didn't think powerbooks had dedicated F keys... Unless Apple set it up that way, you'd have to have hit Fn-F12 for dashboard, otherwise it activates the optical eject.

    I remapped mine to f8, cause that just makes more sence to me, IMHO
