Thanks for keeping us posted one the minutia of your life, man. Be sure and post here to let use know about all the other stuff you don't have or aren't able to do. We're dying to know. Isn't that what twitter is for?(not the/. dude)
If the results had been real, by now cars would have evolved to have faces painted on them rivaling the toothy grin on the Curtis P-40s of the Flying Tigers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_tigers I seem to recall, back in the day/. had a link/article to somebody who was putting toothy grins on Mazda Miatas, you could even get wicked canine teeth.
Personally I can't believe the law that affirms bastards like you -- if I'm in the fast lane doing the limit and a prick like you... Not sure if you're a troll, but anyways, the "fast lane" is actually, the passing lane so if you aren't passing then you need to get out of the lane. Fuck that shit. The asshole cops should forget about me and haul your ass over for reckless endangerment. You and your fucking rage and sense of self-importance are the real dangers on the road, not my willingness to drive within the law. Wow, one might argue that not getting out of the passing lane when not passing is reckless endangerment, as for rage and self importance, take a look in the mirror. As for driving within the law depending on your locale, keep right pass left is also part of the law, so while you obeying the speed limit, you may be violating the other rules of the road. HTH
(Nazi staff car was, IIRC, a Clarksonism of the highest order on Top Gear a few years back, while reviewing a BMW.) The irony of that statement being most Nazi's drove around in MB limo's and Clarkson being the badge-whore that he is rarely speaks ill of the Benz.
I don't know. Years ago I experienced someone pulling into my lane practically on my front bumper. They were driving a black Nissan Altima. Since then, literally 9/10 times I see someone driving dangerously, it's a Nissan Altima. 80% of those times it is black..5/10 times it is another model of Nissan, but NEVER the Sentra. Usually after that it is the Pathfinder. I do not know why, but I have never seen an XTerra driving in an unsafe fashion. My experience is fairly close to yours though it is silver Altima's half the time. And after the altima comes the nissan Morono(morano), followed closely by the hyundai santa fe, and the new saturn vue.
Which kind? One cool tidbit: A 1981 Renault Le Car got/gets (if there are still any around) 38 MPG in the city and 49 MPG on the highway. Toyota can put that in the Prius' tailpipe and shove it. Ok, now for fun take both cars and t-bone them with your standard sedan out on the road today, eg a chrysler 300. When your done figure out which vehicle you would like to have been in prior to that crash.
Sorry, privacy is nice and all but when you find they took a few hundred grand or a house in bribes (previous congressmen) then the hack was well justified. Machiavelli, is that you? As a fun mad-lib replace politicians with illegal immigrants, terrorists etc. in the beginning of your paragraph, then reread it.
For the traction control, on my parent's van (2000-something ford winstar), the traction control goes NUTS (triggering randomly, even at minimum pedal, which results in it handling in a very unpredictable manner.) if you're using the stupid mini-spare on the front axle. Probably due to the fact the rolling diameter of the mini spare is different enough to make the TC believe that wheel is constantly slipping. Now on my car there are three different TC settings, std, some wheel slip but watch the yaw(good for getting through snow w/ AWD), and your on your own(no TC). I find it hard to believe ford doesn't have a similar system, although a bunch of teens unable to drive in snow may further help the "safety image"
Apparently you think that the engineers at Ford are incapable of removing material from the vehicle or are too stupid for it to occur to them. Or perhaps, and this is far more likely, the accountants(the ones who really run the show at Ford) decided it wasn't worth the cost. eg the live rear axle on the latest mustang(and svt) no engineer worth his salt would have done that unless he was vetoed by the bean counters. I'm pretty sure someone who even considers hybridizing a vehicle is well aware that supercharging, turbocharging, or even engine swaps are an option. So that leads to the inevitable conclusion that there were other factors involved in their decision. Just because you or I wouldn't do it is irrelevant and it doesn't make them stupid. Wasteful maybe but not stupid. Since this is the same crowd that will put giant foil wings on the back of front engine front wheel drive cars, don't discount the stupidity factor.
Heh, thats kinda funny. What kind of vet would say that without some type of autopsy? Who would bother to autopsy a bird? Anything that kills a bird that quickly will hurt a human, and it will be obvious. Umm, no you are incorrect. Depending on the size of the bird, parakeet vs. Macaw, Polytetraflouethylene exposure can kill a bird well before people would get hurt. See canary in a coal mine.
With that in mind, it's hard to see how the Pandora can fail, bring down a large electronics company, destroy a Ferrari Enzo, and lose millions of investors cash in quite the same way as the Gizmondo managed What? How was the Ferrari Enzo destroyed?
Indeed, as well as every 3 months somebody publishes a study to say that "evil lusers" are doing bad things sometimes to be more productive and sometimes to slack off. Unfortunately, like many things in life it is a sliding scale rather than a one size fits all solution. Sure block the pr0n, day-trading, ebay side business managing clowns, but for $deity's sake don't set the default home page to the bloated ass corp intranet portal. If I fire up a browser window to read some html documentation or to check a vendor's site I don't need the 30-45 second pause while the poorly written jscript or vbscript hell slowly loads.
The Supreme Leader of Iran is chosen by the Assembly of Experts, who are themselves elected by the people. I don't care about secularism as a prerequisite for democracy. But the Assembly of Experts are no more truly democratic than the president of Iran is Members of the assembly are elected from a government-screened list of candidates by direct public vote to eight year terms. The govt. screening makes the Iranian democracy about as democratic as the Soviet democracy was.
Iran is the second most vibrant democracy in the Middle East, and the USA's invasion of Iraq has allowed Iran to make a shot at becoming a regional power. How do you plan to broker friendship between Iran, the USA, and Israel? You keep using that word, I don't think it means what you think it means.
And I still won't mention the name of the guy who used to be a consumer advocate and supposedly is running for president, since he's partially responsible for the debacle of the past eight years. May he burn in Hell. If you mean he had the audacity to be a more attractive candidate to a small portion of the electorate than the guy you hoped would win, then yes he is partially responsible for the past eight years, moreso than any of the elected officials in either branch of govt. Shine on you crazy diamond.
Counter point one: Wow, that's a witty retort.
Counter point two: If I already make substantial charitable contributions and volunteer with a couple of local non-profits. were true why did you need to feel inspired to do more by the POTUS?Again, witty retort.
Counter point three: If you're not guilty why the hostility? Why so serious? I merely asked the simple question, why is there this massive need to be told by our leaders that volunteering to help others in a time of crisis is a good idea?
After 9/11, a great national tragedy, I wanted to serve, to help, but George Bush told me to go shopping. It was a bit of a letdown. This statement puzzles me, I've never understood the masochistic need of certain people post 9/11. Will it assuage your survivor's guilt if I told you to sit at home and beat your self bloody with chains? Or could you not volunteer some of your time or money to a cause unless the POTUS tells you to?
It's time the USA became a force for good in this world again. McCain won't lead us there, he's too busy slinging mud to even spend time forming a cogent policy on how to run this country. Obama can take us there. You know, your post makes a lot more sense if you listen to Living Colour's "Cult of Personality" playing in the background while reading it. And I may have missed what Obama was going to do make the USA a force for good in this world again. So please recite them or point me in the right place.
general rejection of dissension are hallmarks of authoritarian views. As opposed to those big tent democrates who didn't even want a roll call vote on the floor of their convention to create the illusion of absolute unanimity in the party.
4 informative, not quite. All combustion reactions produce CO2 and H20. Natural Gas (CH4) only releases CO2 and H20 upon combustion...no other chemicals like sulfur, mercury or other similarly nasty chemicals to have in the air. Which is true when burning in the presence of pure O2, here on earth most automobiles burn air which leads to various nasty chemicals like oxides of nitrogen being produced. HTH
How exactly is defending this going to make the world a better place? Indifference is the enemy of progress and you're worse. You're a piece of garbage weighted around the ankle of positive change. Well your chicken little hysterics aren't conducive to progress either. Now, these actions appear to be a gross violation of civil liberties, and as such should be investigated and dealt with, but running around claiming this is as bad as the really bad shit that happened in our nation's history just makes you look like a tool. As is calling anyone who lacks your zeal for going batshit crazy an enabler. Btw the reason we are better NOW is b/c we behaved liked rational beings not frenzied animals.
Which is to say, not at all violently and not at an especially high temperature. Seriously, what's the problem with burning diamonds in oxygen? Nothing except the parent poster was saying diamonds + heat = graphite unless there is O2 then diamonds + heat = CO2.
We even have troops in Georgia fighting against the Russians. Really? I thought all we had were cargo planes delivering humanitarian aid. Perhaps you have a source for this claim?

Not in the UK though. The normal Civics over here look great IMHO,
Hondas in the UK are like email in Korea, only old people use them.
Too bad nobody rides horses around here any more. Damn you civilization!
Well it may not be civilized, but here is an article describing the return of mounted police unit to Philadelphia, Pa. And here is a broader list.
