Don't reply to your own posts, it's generally in bad taste. Wait for the dust to settle on what you're modded and hope a decent mod comes along that browses at -1.
Normally, I'd say don't nitpick. But there was a plothera of speling mistakes in the summary. (Subtle, no?)
If I download DVD rips of TV show compilations, who's sales am I supposedly hurting? Does it count as both DVD and TV piracy?
I just want to make sure I know who's gonna claim I hurt their sales by downloading what I never would have bought.
There's not a single thing flamebait about this. Because MaelstromX said something you didn't like, you modded him down. Censorship at it's finest.

Well you can keep attacking that straw man argument if you want but it has nothing to do with AdBlock.
If a commmercial web site operator knew that a user had AdBlock installed, they would NOT agree to the terms of that user accessing the website, not only wasting bandwidth but acquiring the content contained on the website (which costs money to produce). Their website, their rules. Nobody is forcing you to go, you can leave at any time -- or you can stay and use unethical methods to make your visit slightly more convenient.
And all of you bitching about it being within your rights to view content how you want, blah blah blah, shut up already. I am addressing the ethical wrongness of AdBlock -- you are stealing bandwidth and content without also viewing the means for which the web site creates enough revenue for the web site to sustain itself.

As a side note, observe what happens when you go against slashbot groupthink:
Due to excessive bad posting from this IP or Subnet, comment posting has temporarily been disabled. If it's you, consider this a chance to sit in the timeout corner .
You don't need a net connection to play games via Steam. You just need it to initially activate games.
I'm not sure what you're problem with Steam is. It works fine, never crashes and supports developers instead of publishers. What? You want to support Vivendi Universal, the continenet spamming publisher? You fucking hack. Stop being a hypocrite and get your facts straight.
WTG with knowing all the facts. VU and Valve are involved in lawsuits with each other. VU doesn't want Valve games distributed over Steam because they wouldn't get any money as publisher. Valve counter-sued and now they're basically hating each other.
My geek instinct has been tapped by your mention of "Secret of Mana," yet I can find no relevence between your post and the story. This scares and confuses me.
The world wide left? How about the world wide non-mentally handicapped? Clinton gets a BJ in office and they try to impeach him. At worst, an intern got a lifelong stigma. Bush lied about WMDs in Iraq, leading to the deaths of thousands of US Soldiers and innocent Iraqis and he gets re-elected?
I played Hold 'Em and other poker variants with my friends for about a year and I ended up fairly even. Changing up your betting styles every now and then and not having any tells is a great way to win. In real life, knowing the odds isn't always helpful. Sometimes you just have to go on gut instinct or that little twitch you saw from the other player as the river was shown... sometimes it works out for ya, sometimes it doesn't.
I agree with him. I'd never pay for a movie just because of a hot chick. I have a girl friend who obsesses over Brad Pitt movies because he's so hot but gets pissed if I talk about porn stars. What's the difference?!
Guess what? The original Half-Life sucked. The mods make it what it is. The original HL multiplayer... yeah, great, I love playing deathmatch once in a while. But not every damn time. I've long since moved away from CS and now I play the Natural Selection mod for HL.
Well, for those inclined to strategy games, I thought it was easy to learn. If we played any MoO, it'd be 2 and we'd play it hotseat, to make things interesting.;-)

Last I checked, a word does not include a dollar sign. Fucking Slashbot idiot.
Uh... no offense.
But due to the typical Slashbot response of "Hey! Linux boasting and MS with a dollar sign, mod up!"
That's my why of saying "Mod parent up."

I'm planning to head out this Saturday. I live in southern NH and this is better priced than my local LAN center.
The /. editors are trying to slip secret *nix references into the stories now!

Ahem. He has THREE broadband connections. That's $130,005,976 not $130,005,858. Don't spread your fuzzy math around here!

It's not denial. It's a legal tactic.

WHAT THE FUCK?!
When we start fighting India?
"No sir, you cannot cross that stream. Yes, I know it looks very shallow but it's actually the ocean. Yes, sir, the ocean."
Now THAT'S funny!

It's funny. Nudist colonies say they have nothing to hide, but now they'll be the only place *to* hide.
Payper? Penceel? What are these things you speak of?
$10 a pop to cover the soda and pizza, what's the problem?
Wow, really? I didn't know that!

Heh, he was joking about MoO3. That's why he said "In about three days, you'll have a real game kick'n."
What? Is that too little? I wasn't trying to make a profit, just make even on pizza and soda.
Oh, oh, hilarious! I'm sorry I didn't play the original Tic-Tac-Toe on punch cards.
