Stupid thumping gangsta rap whose only function is to shake your car's quarter panels, bubblegum crap pop, or Nu Metal where guys with long hair get up in front of the mike, blast the distortion and whine about their relationships.

Most teenagers with a brain are listening to older music anyway. Not to say that I don't like some Nu Metal, but those who haven't found anything from before 1980 are too late to be saved. I suggest we just put them out of their misery; they're a lost cause.

There is some good music now-days though, it's not all complete and utter bollocks as you describe. But good luck getting it in Australia; over here a lot of things are either US or EU order. Also means you miss out on lots of good bands over here if you attempt to keep to legitimate channels. So no-one does that.

Unfortunately, a LOT of people don't live close enough to an exchange to even get any form of DSL

Telstra is partially to blame for this; they refuse to provide any DSL service whatsoever to those who can't get their maximum speed. Agile gives you as much as you can handle though, so when they start getting out into the non-metro areas things may improve. As it is, I'm in a metro area (Adelaide) and live ~2.1km from the exchange, giving me just over 8Mb/s sync speed, and >800KB/s download speed. It's good that we're finally starting to get better service than in the US :)

It began with the Nuremburg trial ritual. The Nazis concerned would have been best treated to a quick firing squad with no drama, and we would have been free thereafter to act cleanly.

You're trying to say that we should ignore the possible innocence of a person, and punish them for the crimes of others?

For example, is a KKK member of a chapter that commits a lynching "innocent" even if he does not participate in the act?
