Why not just encrypt your data? Or make encrypted file image that you could mount with a password of key file. on a mac it's trivial but i don't see whay it should be hard on any plaform. that way the network admins can not read of your documents
I tried to say:
I one would not acknowledge something they would make/create/write, there is noting to waive? AKA guerrilla style art(or fill in your poison) making..
Its there but know one knows who made it.
Perhaps i have should written it as a coward but then again, im not..
well after reading TFA i was wondering if Solaris 8 or 9 where really performing like they say: " meets strict low-latency and messaging requirements of brokerages and trading firms."
uhmm AFAIK there using SUN boxes and solaris ( IBM and the rest is also there ) and those did not have "RealTime"
SO,
well i just did put some stuff here so let me be a karma whore.
sorry for the inconvenience
Here is a great tool to visualize your kernel and then print a poster of it http://fcgp.sourceforge.net/
you do need a big printer for it if you want a readable poster though;-).( and yes you also can stick 16 A4's to a wooden plate but that's just plain silly) I does however show you in perfect details all the arch's and sub systems of the kernel.

Plus the fact that they split up packages and then also with different versioning, for example ssh or ssh with krb5, not to mention that they are old packages....
I used to be a sysadm working on debian servers and the main thing i missed was the flexibility I have with gentoo, 1 package multible USE flags so i can choose what i need, not the way debian does it. maybe apt-get needs a revisioning or replacement so the list can shrink , less packages more resources more choice for the people,
and oh it came not as a suprise. due to policy's on patching ( apt-get can break things! ) 4 hacks in 3 months then i decided I had enough...
in gentoo, make sure you install hpijs, with foomatic, then gnome-cups-manager
and then your done, yesterday i installed under 5 minutes a new hp1350 all in one thingy, so in mho things are getting better

well, i like Eminem, but i not sure if he's stressed out, i think he's a good business man, and loving it.
I agree with you on the " Dude, it was never the artist's choice. How and who gets distributed and marketed was always the record company's choice" I can still remember the underpaid jazz musicians who's music is stolen 'every second' and did not see a penny of it, on the other hand this might be the method on how music is distributed, since your music is getting alot of attention when it's sampled and it becomes popular,
as a musician myself i struggled with the music rights etc, till i became a nerd/gnu lover, ( and was not successfull as an artist:), so as a musician i think
let them hear what you have! and don't cry about it ( as some people do who got a lot of money from theirmusic and start sueing(forgive my spelling?) for cash if their on the Internet. hint Metallica
well,
the funny thing is: all the guys/girls complaining that it took that long, are really throwing their time away posting it, instead of saving from the daemons and monsters that hunt me because my computer will not run the fr**king game.

this distro wil make this easy, (ldd ldconfig hell ) plus when your done testing you can easy make a package to all your clients like a charm.... and distribute it..
The standard however is on the moment M$ because of the market domination they have on the desktop area, and the software company's want to make money, so they use the M$ "standard". The question is then:
Why don't they integrate use of other 'standards' so people can play around with them to see what's best to suit there use.
1 thing though is there will never be a standard, then but at least a lot of choice's instead of the 'One'....
