i'd love to have the fiber but if you could theoretically drain your dl quota in a few days time the service isn't worth it...

I'd have to say that consistency is more important than ease of use... For example if you know clicking on "Tools" will open a context menu that will contain the "Options" dialogue in almost any Windows application that is something you will rarely have to look for. However with open source, software developers sometimes get carried away with their GUIs which results in having to memorize where "that menu" is in every application you use.
Selling old junk for big money is a great idea... Works well when people think they are getting a deal 'cause the co. is bankrupt...
I'd like to know what will happen to the cash... Will it be used to pay creditors? It's certainly not going to the shareholders who lost their shirts.
This is one of the best things that a fragmented browser market could offer... If no single exploit can bring a gov agency / corp to it's knees because of many different software implementations across depts. it provides an added level of security.
Seems the Brazilians have a little racket for the time being but isn't it likely that things should adjust themselves as the Orkut population becomes more diverse?
people will have jobs coding open source software... what will be hurt is its ability to compete with closed source if it becomes big business in asia...

enough with these new fangled gaming systems my commodore 64 does it all... but i should have got the rust proofing...
