    For those who are too young to remember the Cold War, the DNEPR space launch system used to be the Russian's inter-continental ballistic missiles (ICBM).

    This Roland cat isn't providing any service not already adequately met.

    Yet each month, a hundred thousand people read the things he posts. It appears that he does serve some function. What he does is saving some people the trouble of having to search for this "interesting" stuff by themselves.

    Hey, it might not be much for you, mister multi-millionaire, but for the rest of us, some extra cash will always come in handy, especially during the Christmas season.

    And i do think the guy deserves some credit for finding a way to make some money off the Internet.

    Imagine boasting that you couldn't "do reading", and found books aimed at ten-year-olds too much of a challenge.

    Oh, i fear that you'd be surprised to learn how many people are functionally illiterate (ie can't locate two pieces of information in a sports article). I don't know if any of them are willing to admit it, though.

    Another thing is, while practically everyone can speak and read/write in a language, there are still differences in their comprehension ability. Writing skills can also vary greatly -- and you can see people rather proudly showing their inability to form a sentence or to write any words longer than two syllables ("omg lol u r teh sux!").

    I suppose they're talking about the Information's right to be free. Meaning that "You" in "YRO" must, in this particular case, refer to information, making all the people posting here Information's tools (or slaves). I bet none of you saw this one coming. Ha.
