I voted Liberal and already wrote my MP about this whole thing. But I have a feeling we are gonna have this crammed down our throats because the conservatives do what the Americans want. VOTE LIBERAL!
When you start adding things who knows what is going to happen, there could be unforeseen consequences that could make life very hard socially, physically and psychologically.
I have no problem with hybrid embryos for testing purpose as I don't mind abortion within the first trimester. But allowing a human hybrid to come to term (If possible) I am against. Stem cell research should be legal and funded by the government because it has the potential to cure MANY diseases.
My mom saw this report and said she was glad to have me around because her internet went down and she didn't know how to fix it (All it was, was her ethernet cable became unplugged). She would have been suckered by one of these type of people because she has no clue when it comes to computers
I don't know about the US educational system, but here in Ontario Canada we have 4 levels in highschool which are basic, general, advanced, and enriched. Gifted students take advanced and enriched courses, while "slower" students take basic and general courses. It aims to ensure everyone is where they should be. It works pretty well.

Our MP's may not read every letter sent to them, but they will notice if they get thousands of letters all on the same topic.
