I don't run Ubuntu. I don't quite like it. I do however recommend it to my friends/family who want to experience Linux and have only used Windows so far. It's by far the easiest and most complete distro available to newbies. And if you want more (or less, depends how you look at it) you use Fedora or Debian.
Just take Windows vs Linux as an example. Everyone knows Windows is less of a security risk. It gets hacked less often, has the least amount of exploits and as a bonus even runs faster and more stable!
"However GeoHot has never supported any form of piracy and in fact has taken a constant stance against it."
Oh sure. Now replace "extracting the key" with "breaking into your house" and replace "don't support piracy" with "leave the door open for others". Hey, i can't be held responsible for what others do after my actions!
I wonder when all the documents on Guantanamo Bay prisoners will be leaked. Apparently they are already in the possession of wikileaks admins. Perhaps waiting in case Assange actually gets placed there?

I just learned that Google earns 500m on typos alone. Wikipedia is full of typos (and incorrect 'facts', but that's another issue). The 2m is just a "thank you".
I'm running Fedora (12) and with the rpmfusion(-nonfree*) repository added, i don't need to run nvidia's installer. I just update my entire system, including the nvidia driver. If you're fed up by your way of updating, give Fedora a chance.

Better to strike first. Mind, good enough so _they_ can't retalliate.

I don't agree with Scientology at all, but if you('re stupid enough to) get caught DoS'ing their site you deserve to go to jail.
