So basically, someone should make a chain mail for this:
"This is not a joke.
Apparently, there is now a new virus called DRM. If the store you goes to offers you movies or music with DRM, DO NOT BUY IT. It WILL destroy your TV and computer if used.
Don't ask the store clerks about it, as they think it is a feature instead of a virus. Just say no, and go to another store.
Then again, you can't play CDs if you only have a tape player in your car, and you can't play tapes if your car only has a cd player, plus (most) computers can't play tapes either.
Basically, as long as this is only an option in addition to CDs and tapes, it's not really a problem: you just get the kind of copy that you need for your own usage.
Or it's like this: Someone bought a wireless router to share his internet connection at home with the rest of his family, but he didn't bother to setup any security.
Then someone outside of the house connects to the wireless router to use the internet connection, without the owner of the router knowing or approving this.
Well, yeah. I just wanted to point out that the article was in some way connected to property. I didn't mean to state if virtual property is property or not.
It has something to do with property because the guy actually tried to bring the case to court first, but didn't get any help because there were no laws for virtual property.
Where does it say 8-9 hours of sleep? The part which talked about 8 hours of sleep was in connection with use of medication, wasn't it?
Anyhow, I thought I saw another research saying that around 7 hours of sleep were optimal, and having both more and less than that would be, erh, not as optimal.
Not that it stops me from getting 9+ hours of sleep whenever I can, but it worried me a bit. Hopefully it was not a serious research. I haven't really been able to find the source for it.
Then you could just call her and have her write things down in Word or whatever. No synchronization issues, but it'd of course be a problem whenever she's out of the office.
Are those two supposed to not go past the "Loading..." message? If not, they're both broken in Opera. While Google's page works, even with dragging! I was actually slightly surprised about that, since Google Desktop Search doesn't seem to fully support Opera yet.
Will credig cards from the future be usable? Surely their accounts wouldn't be existing yet. And we don't even know if the currency from the future would still be the same.
Although, I guess the time travelers could always bring a sports almanac to make some money...
I won a phone a few years ago, and I hardly ever use it for phone calls, slightly more often for SMS. I think the time I spent on playing games on the phone is at least 10 times the time I use "phone" features.
Still, a phone with games, mp3 player and whatnot is still more useful than just bringing a portable game console or a mp3 player. You can't receive calls with your Nintendo DS, when you accidentally goes to the wrong place to meet your friends. (Well, you could if they are close, but then they might as well just shout.)
...this also means that they *have* to improve. If they don't, or do some bad choices or design, they'd quickly lose marketshare to better competitors.
While for something like chocolate bars, if you've managed to make your brand popular, you can just make more of the same and still get good sales.
A quick google did give me this. (I haven't tested it though.)
I guess that basic features ought to be supported in the main installation, but I've never really needed my mail programs to redirect mail, since the mail servers I use have builtin redirect.
I was trying to be funny, but I guess I wasn't.
Sorry.
When did jedis enter this discussion?
Man, and here I was following that link totally expecting a website about a cow doing algebra.

Forward this e-mail to all your friends!"

Heck, I bet those stores get dozens of people every day saying that they are the chosen heroes of fate. Would you give them a discount?
I dunno, Mahjong played with money can be a real killer for your opponents' wallets.
China has a declaration of independence?

...wait, what were we talking about again?

But playing games doesn't count as productivity, does it? :P
In addition to AdBlock, IE 7 will also contain the highly innovative OperaBlock and FirefoxBlock.
That's great, I guess I don't need to worry about my 9 hours then. Woohoo! :D

Don't you know that Virtual Reality was already mastered thousands of years ago?
Especially since they're actually the principal and janitor.

When I read that title, I thought that Mr Gates had gotten himself a new nickname.
I don't think it'd be for security, it'd be for stupidity. (People forgetting their pin codes, etc.)
