This means that in general more people will get closer to what they want. Saying it with numbers. Say that you have a general public that wants something to be 72.7 on a scale to 0 to 100. In a bi-party system you would get 0 or 100. Making almost everybody unhappy. If both parties work together for some reason, this will end in it being 50. Still not very good, but a bit better. With three parties you would get to 66. Much better already. (no, not 33 as that would mean at least one party would do the opposite of what their voters want and this is a theoretical example). With 4 yu would get to 75% That is pretty damn close.
This would mean a lot of work for the politicians. A lot of negotiating and keeing friends at the other side. Well: good. That is what a representative politician should do, The goal of politics is to represent all the people, not only those who voted for the winner and limit the choice of those voters.
I have seen the same thing when I was on Usenet. The banning was done by myself. At a certain moment I thought that is was all very nice, until I looked at my kill file. I deactivated it and about 80% of the people I had blocked. Some where really trolls, but most, I have to admit, where people that did I just did not agree with and perhaps kill filed them because I was angry at one specific post at one time for whatever reason.

To many people the work/life balance is more important to me than taking home some extra cash. For others that will be the other way around. In general people in Europe value their free time higher.
First there is a basis income that you need to make to survive in reasonable comfort. To me that means sleep, eat and have some money to spend during your off time, like going out with friends. If I only have time for the first two, I would try to cut down on the cost of the first two or make more money to be able to do the third. If making more money (e.g. by doing extra jobs or overtime) make it so that I still can not do the third part, why would I do it?
I work to live. I do not live to work. And I tell my boss that and they tell me they are the same. I once was send home for a week because I had forgotten to take my holidays. "But what about this project" was my argument. The argument from my manager was to basically shut up and take the week off and come back after that refreshed.

It should not affect ANY case, regardless if it was a criminal one or not. It basically takes away rights that you should have. I can sign a LOT of things and often a company will try to say "but you signed" and that would only make their case weaker is it is something that is not allowed. I used Mutt almost exclusive till a while ago. I now use a web interface with Roundcune. The advantages (YMMV) to me are that I have the same interface all the time, no matter if I am on a local machine, a new installed machine, at work or on a friends PC, independent of the OS I am on.
It is much easier to navigate from folder to folder and see if there is mail in a new folder or not. Much easier than with mutt (with the added extent ion of being able to see the mail folders). I just get my mail from my provider with fetchnmail and sort it with procmail. Sorting is easy, because I use a lot of aliasses. For each company or website I work with I use company1.tlt@example.net and company2.tld@example.net.
I then filter in folders like e.g. friends, financial, stores, mailinglists, generieric websites, spam,...
So now I am able to easily see the different mailboxes and if I want to read them or if it can wait. I do not see images unless I tell it to show them.
And about the HTML: I do hate it. Unfortunately this is how others send their mail to me and to me the communication is more important than the form. So if people send it in HTML, I will get it that way. Does not mean that a reply will be send that way.
That said, on my phone I use BlueMail with Imap to my home server. As I do not use it that often (only if I have no access to anything else and I expect an urgent email) I will just look at the specific email and not even use it to reply. That one unfortunately shows the images. As I do not use it often (perhaps 2 - 3 times a week) I am too lazy to find anything else and using ssh on a phone is even worse.

I absolutely understand those high risk car chases in the US. If I am in Europe and they catch me, I will get perhaps a year and I can start to get a new life. In the US, my life is over. I have nothing to loose, so why not risk it all in the off chance that it works.
