Make good product and people will pay money for it.
You are so right. In my case, I downloaded a shitty cam, looked at the first few minutes and decided to go to the movies. It was quite expensive but still worth it as the movie was great. So from my perspective it seems like the piracy helped the movie make more money.
And I just finished watching the end of farscapes peacekeeper wars... like 5 seconds ago. I think John's wormhole gun takes the cake.
Bah. I would rather command one of the Vorlon planet killers (B5, s. 4). Its sad that the article only lists crappy mainstream movies.
I saw this post on the libtorrent mailing list a while ago.
If its true, the authors of Exeem modified libtorrent and used it in their application. I am sure that the authors of libtorrent are quite happy that some people can earn money by advertising using some of their work.
"On a distant mining planet ravaged by a decade of war, scientists have created the perfect weapon: a blade-wielding, self-replicating race of killing devices known as Screamers designed for one purpose only -- to hunt down and destroy all enemy life forms.."
By the way, a kind person forked the pwc/pwcx driver.
From the README: "Note 2: With this driver, you don't need the binary module pwcx.ko. The module pwc.ko contains all code to support you webcam in full resolution. If you found
big table in the driver, it's not a binary code, but some table to use it to transform data from your webcam to an image in YUV format."

I can't wait to see their Linux associates...
They only need one response to all questions: RTFM.
What they need is Colonel Flagg.
"Nobody can get the truth out of me because even I don't know what it is. I keep myself in a constant state of utter confusion."
You are right, but the picture drawn by a kid using MS-Paint made it all worth waiting for the macromedia flash to load.
[..] no one outside the USA has seen this serie and this is why it won't go anywhere.
.dk on DVD. I managed to get one(1) other geek to watch it.
I bought it here in
Good luck with any future arguments.
Bah. For a while I used the scream of a Shadow ship (from B5) as my ringtone. I imagine that my co-workers hated me for it.
I never paid for a ringtone, since I can upload a any wav/ringtone to my phone using bluetooth.

Now .. what is the Mac doing on this picture ? It even shows that other OS. How strange.
You could try Ion 2 (http://modeemi.cs.tut.fi/~tuomov/ion/) - no GTK+ or Qt dependencies.
I started using it after I got tired of the mainstream window managers, fluxbox included.
The Screamers?

Denmark's largest television channel, TV2, reported on the release of Mozilla Firefox 1.0.
The clip should be available from http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=node/view/5567.

I stopped using evolution when I realized that others applications can start in about one second and only run in one process.
What a nice idea. That should put a stop to people taking calls on their mobile phones too. :)
