    Isn't it irrelevant to have things that weren't true this time last year on the list, like that (#1) the first cell phone call was made twenty years ago. It wasn't true last year at this time, so you couldn't really "know" it, although you would be able to know that it would eventually be a twenty year time span since the first cell phone call.

    And then there are things like #76, the day when most suicides occurred in the UK between 1993 and 2002 was 1 January, 2000. How could this not have been determined at this time last year? I'm pretty sure that last year was 2005, which was three years after 2002.

    And I guess #99, The Japanese word "chokuegambo" describes the wish that there were more designer-brand shops on a given street, assumes that before now, nobody knew Japanese...

    Mail and Chat
    Opera mail: Opera's built-in POP/IMAP E-mail client is a combined e-mail program, news reader, mailing list organizer and RSS/Atom newsfeed reader.

    IRC chat: Communicate with people all over the world using Opera's IRC chat client. Chat privately or in rooms, or share files with your friends and family.

    Customization
    Drag and drop: Using the 'appearance' dialog you can make Opera look almost any way you want. Move buttons and search fields, add and remove toolbars, and so forth.

    Skins: Opera skins can give your browser the look you want. Make the browser your own by giving it the icons and buttons of your choice.

    Language: Opera's user interface is translated into a multitude of languages, and the language can be changed on the fly.

    Accessibility
    Zoom: With Opera you can zoom the contents of any Web page from 20%-1000% using the zoom dropdown or the + and - keys.

    Text size and colors: Text size and link styling can be changed using Opera. Text color and background color can also be customized.

    User style sheets: Opera comes with a set of ready-made style sheets, including accessibility style, that can be used to override a Web site's style set completely.

    When we were in the 1960s, a family of 4 paid about 20% of their income to government at every level. 1 parent could afford to stay home. In 2005, a family of 4 pays over 50% of their income to government at every level. This is 250% higher, causing both parents to have to work just to get by. Don't blame the parents for what you voted for.

    Actually, it's 250%, not 250% higher. 250% higher of 20% would be 70%.
