    I work in a firm that delivers CMS systems to some of the biggest companies around and we have 1.

    Of course this is in Denmark, but still - do you really need to sue that many?

    In Denmark it is already illegal for companies(but not people) to send out SPAM.

    If the EU makes SPAM illegal, then spammers cannot SPAM from the EU.
    US is also trying to stop SPAM.

    Lets say these countries are the only ones to do something. It will still work!

    Currently I put everything from china into my SPAM-folder and by golly, I'll just blacklist every country that doesn't have anti-SPAM laws.

    Problem (almost) solved :-)

    Are any of the things you claim true?
    What I have seen of american "news" it's total BS.
    First they say "no prisoners was taken" Then the iraqi shows pictures of them.
    "Oh yes, that's right. We DID have some solders missing"

    What exactly are iraqi's options? The usa controls 90% of the world news.

    Where did you hear about hospitals being used as weapons cache?

    Where can I see some pictures of iraqi solders "hiding" between civilians? You must remember that a lot of civilians are fighting against the invading force.

    I had that experience with a girlfriend once. She didn't believe me.
    I had to go to freshmeat while she was watching and show her: "See honey, programs. Here's one that checks links on a page".

    So she ended up negative on the whole karma thing. Whoopee :-)

    I recently lost(forgot) my pgp key. I had a lot of stuff encrypted of personal value. No it wasn't childporn.

    I finally got gpg hacked so I could brute my password. If anybody want in just mail me :-)

    I just need to make some kind of phone-home ability. So each instance will tell "mother" which segment of the key-space it has searched.

    That's one way of dealing with it...

    Ironically I had backup's of both the data and my secret key. But not my password.

    No. This is a common mistake. The supercomputer in HHGTTG calculates 42. The earth's job was to find the question. Something along the line of:
    "What do you get if you multiply 9 by 6 and"
    (Then they ran of of scrabble pieces :-)

    Why is it that fsf needs people to donate money?
    Is this the future for free software? People beg for money.

    I love open source/free software, but I cannot help but see the money problem.

    As I see it there are three ways of making money:
    support
    manuels
    t-shirts, coffee-cups and so on.

    Any thoughts?

  23. A truly great game on Star Control 2 Released Under the GPL · · Score: 1

    Most of the comments are about this becomming open source.

    I'd just like to say that the game was _really_ good. The things you could make the aliens say, the races you would meet in space where so imaginative. The gfx was also really good. In the sense that it fitted 100% together with the sound and game atmosphere.

    This game is the reason I restored a 386. So I could play starcontrol 2.

    I cannot wait for this game to be compiled on my linux box :-)
