    Ultra capacitors on the other hand can charge extremely quickly without any ill effects (e.g. no explosion).

    You sure they short circuit because of it? There is supposed to be a insulator between the conductors in a capacitor.

    I assumed the motherboard blew its self up because the capacitor no longer worked.

    Capacitors go one better than 'longer life'. They will last indefinitely until they physically break.
    You can charge/discharge one as much as you want with no ill effects.

    Half right. Yes crashing would deplete the capacitors but it would also recharge the capacitors of the car your hitting.

    The solution if you run out of energy? Just wait for someone to hit you. :D

    Yeah the difference isnt massive but Linux can add 5+ fps to a game.

    Its effectively the same yes but native Linux ports are usually somewhat faster than running the same game on the same rig under Windows.
    Using Wine throws away the benefits of Linux's superior video and audio libraries due to overhead.
    The gameplay is similar to using it on Windows ironically.

    I'm not too sure what measures are realistic for a datacenter when the robbers are armed and carry the equipment they require to cut through walls.

    This porn trojan is the *only* one for Mac OS X at the moment.

    This trojan doesnt use any exploits. Its purely a social engineering attack.

    For it to work you need to be going to a porn site with the trojan, download the fake codec and then be stupid enough to enter in your root password.

    Completely different to Windows trojans which automatically install.

    Reciepts are a bad idea. They kill the point of the secret ballot.

    Also there should be timestamps but on the voted database and not the votes database.
    So Mr XXX voted at 1:15pm but not who they voted for.

    Its more likely to be a fear of people not contributing.
    They could find flaws and then exploit them at the next election to make their candidate automatically win.

    Of course its nonsense,
    If it went through a standard *nix development cycle with alphas, betas and release candidates along with a x86 compatible testing program and allowing (audited) patches then it would be very secure.
    Many people (especially conspiracy nuts) would be reading over the code.
