    They of course didnt vote.

    God I love it here in Australia where its compulsory to vote.

    I'm scratching my head.

    Why is it a RC when they say stuff like "We're not done yet, however -- quality will continue to improve."
    RC means Release Candidate. Shouldnt it be another Beta since this is definately not a release candidate?

    In our house at least its more along the lines of hard drives just arent big enough to make it really useful.

    Store all our DVDs on it, two dozen or so TV series, music collections, family photos (we have lots) and more would take quite a bit of drive space.
    Then comes the problem of moving it all around between computers too.....

    Its essentially the same as those machines which print your photos off your memory card.

    Transcoding video is expensive CPU time thus it is expensive for a company to do it.

    I'm a Aussie and while Australia does have its fair set of issues we are definately better off than other countries. John Howard knows what he's doing unlike some (*cough* Bush)

    What scale? Its XP with 10 million lines of bloat added.
    Do the maths. 10 million lines devided by 2,000 coders = 5,000 lines each. Thats a puny project.
