    Just moviepass giving the finger to their other creditors.

    At this point, they're likely trying to payoff things like back payroll taxes. Where if they don't, they personally go to jail for theft, having withheld the taxes from employee checks.

    The bigger the number this last creditor builds up, the higher % of the liquidated assets it gets...but I doubt there is anywhere near 3 million in value there. What are they going to do? Go for one more month of subscriptions, and hope there are enough lazy people that don't notice?

    You likely have two chains of theaters in your town or city. Maybe a half dead 'artsy fartsy/midnight movie' surviving. Maybe a drive in, for nostalgia.

    What happens when a relatively minor currency goes 'pop'? Say the pound or yen. Does it spread? If it spreads will it stop spreading?

    I'm expecting a credit crunch induced global _mess_. We can't all keep printing money, then pissing it away. But the Machiavellian plays mean nobody can stop, even if they wanted to...

    You peg to our currency, we print money. We print money, you print money. You change your peg to a basket, everybody prints. It's a party or it's a war, nobody knows for sure, all we know is 'they' are still talking and smiling at each other and money is cheap.

  19. In America the first 250k$ in net on a home sale is not taxed. IIRC provided you lived in it for the last 2 years. So many people move into investment homes for the last 2 years before selling them.

    The actual # might have been inflation adjusted, haven't looked it up recently.

    They could have been leaving the CPU at boost speed for too long. Then it has too really slow while the system dumps heat.

  24. But are they engineered to handle all CPUs running, balls out, full time? Most desktop heat sinks, aren't. Most games still being largely single threaded and GPU bound.
