    Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam;

Burning through a plastic cup is a lot differant from taking down a plane though. IMO it shows how security paranoid people are nowerdays.

If reports like this keep on coming out the idiots who refuse to believe in global warming have got to take notice sometime.

  4. Worst release date ever? on Metal Gear Solid 3 Ships · · Score: 1, Insightful

Is anyone actually going to be playing this instead of Half-Life 2? It will hardly get any media attention due to everybody focusing on HL2 so many people may just miss the release. One of my friends is a rabid MGS fan and I haven't even heard anything from him about it. Wouldn't it be better if they just released it next week?

  5. Re:Silly initiative? on UK Group Wants Mandatory Flash For Phone Cams · · Score: 2, Insightful

Any regulation like that would be completely unenforceable. They have tried to ban camera phones at my school but everyone just ignores the rule. Soon almost all phones will have a camera in them so people won't even be able to go along with the rule if they want to.

  7. Re:The only way to motivate on Global Warming Expected to Intensify Hurricanes · · Score: 3, Insightful

Yes, but nothing has been presented to prove that global warming IS part of a a natural cycle. We dont know nearly enough about the weather to say anything 100%. Even the best computer models have yet to come close to the real complexity of the weather patterns. They could be many other effects that we know nothing about which could cause disaster.

Right now we're running into a dark cave and hoping there isn't a bear in it. Not a very good strategy for survival.

  8. Re:Nature's way... on Global Warming Expected to Intensify Hurricanes · · Score: 5, Insightful

Prehaps this is nature's way of telling America, the worlds biggest polluter by far to take global warming seriously.

If this doesn't do it nothing will. It is the equivilant of being hit on the back of the head and not bothering to turn round to stop whatever hit you from hitting you again.

No; the radio industry (particularly the American radio industry) cares about making money. Yes but the BBC is not funded by adverts. It is funded by a licence fee of about 110 per year from anybody with a TV. However radio 1 still sounds the same as any other station during the day. Its only during the evening when they have specialist shows that they are any differant.

  14. No matter how good it is I'm not getting one on N-Gage QD Review - No More Side-Talkin' · · Score: 3, Insightful

I just want a small simple phone that does phone calls and text messages. MP3 playback is good but my MP3 player does that better and cheaper. While the N-Gage looks quite cool its not going to fit in your pocket that easily. I'm going to keep my gaming to PC's for now. When they can invent a phone with a 19" screen, 3D accelleration, a mouse and a keyboard that fits in your pocket easily, I'll buy it.

Ali G is hilarious. Coming from the UK I dont see how anyone could fail to realise he isn't being serious, maybe Americans dont get that kind of humour. Buzz Aldrin should have spotted that something was up when he asked him about the conspiricy theorys of the moon being fake.

I'm pretty sure one of the people he interviewed threatened to sue if the interview was shown.

This just proves how much of a huge differance we are making to the planet. One more reason to take global warming seriously.

  18. Re:DOS games on Revenge Of Pac-Man - Vintage Gaming Still Hot? · · Score: 1

I'm not saying that all DOS games have good gameplay. Nor am I saying that all modern games (good graphics or not) have crap gameplay. I'm just trying to say that I'm not like some people who see a game and immediately dismiss it because it has bad graphics.

Generally I think that games have improved in quality greatly over the years which is why I still buy new games. It's good to occasionally play an old classic though to see how things have moved on.

I was think of getting a P5 after I heard that Black & White supported it. Since you only have a hand to control the world with (no menus) being able to do it with your real hand would be cool. Couple that with a VR helmet and it would be totally immersive.

Unfortunatly the actual gameplay of B&W wasn't that good but it had some great ideas and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

  21. DOS games on Revenge Of Pac-Man - Vintage Gaming Still Hot? · · Score: 3, Interesting

I don't know whether they count as 'vintage' or not but I love downloading and playing old abandonware DOS. Even though it's old and the graphics are normally incredibly blocky, its still fun. I believe firmly in gameplay over graphics. Getting some of them running can be quite hard though, sometimes a modern machine is just too fast for them.

  22. Robots or humans? on NASA Seeks Proposals For Hubble Robotic Servicing · · Score: 3, Insightful

They definetly should continue to maintain hubble, the amazing pictures it sends back are well worth it. If a robot can do it just as well as a human then there is no point in risking astronauts lives for no reason. If however it can't be then I think it is worth a small risk to send a few astronauts up there. If NASA are too concerned with risks and tiny chances of things going wrong then they will never be able to do anything worthwhile with people in space.
