you wouldn't and couldn't do it, unless you were really dedicated. it was worth it though, i loved the interaction with users. when i first got a demo from the internet, i was not impressed - because i couldn't interact with the user...

  3. Anybody know of an alternative that i can trust. I really like the concept of WoT, i don't use it myself, but for other people it is a great aid to warn them that clicking on a link is safe or not.

  5. Does Hollywood have something against Paul Verhoeven? All his movies are being remade (robocop, total recall, now starship troopers), while they are all perfectly fine. If anything, there's a bunch of OTHER movies which could perhaps benefit from a remake, so why pick on Verhoeven?

  6. this security issue is found, reported, confirmed to be exploited in the wild.
yet MS will release a patch next week...

no comments on this? i mean, that local exploit on linux (dirty cow) was patched in an instant and every major distro had the patch available within a day.

It's because you come from one platform and move to another you're missing certain apps.
I went from DOS to Linux and when i bought a Mac many years ago i eventually installed Linux on it because i was missing all my apps i had in Linux. So, in my case, MacOS was missing apps, apps & apps.

  8. that pretty much sucks to keep it hidden for 5 months.
all the while releasing a windows vulnerability before a patch is out.
sounds like double standards to me.

  9. so no more blind typing, this adjustable key-bar at the top will have keys displayed depending on the app, so you will have to look each time what it's displaying now, instead of just knowing where the key will be (because it has always been there).

  10. I assume the conclusion the school made applies to the government as well. People probably already report a lot of stuff to the police and no secret systems are needed that spy on us. The problem is that the information that people provide to the correct instances is probably not processed properly and mostly gone to waste.
You hear it all the time, purpetrator was known by the police, people reported x & y to authorities, sometimes even between internal divisions of the communication is not getting through.
Maybe they should improve this, they would gain more then they probably realise.
