we would at least force him to relawn his yard. I think too many politicians in power get to walk away with a great pension after causing all sorts of havoc, that we have to clean up afterwards, and this would be one of those times.....how about if you screw it up so badly , we end up cutting you off from that pension.....

how many times have I heard a cop laid off and losing his pension....well why does this never apply to politicians, it is not like they cant get a job afterwards, with all the contacts they have....consulting etc....brian mulroney sure made more money after his tenure then before or during.....so let them fend for themselves if they are so loose lipped about what to do without ever really doing the proper research, such as what would happen legally with this tech related decision....further down the line....

  3. About f*ckin time!!! on NIH Restricts Use of Chimpanzees in Labs · · Score: 1

I say ban all animal testing, we have enough human population to test on ourselves first.
    a) you will see (Major) less cruelty, as now you are doing it to a human, so you do care about treatment of that person during testing

    b) you will see a lot less wasteful efforts and useless testing as now any pain causing agents will be again closely monitored to not have to repeat another
    round of testing needlessly.

    c) you will see the medical companies make less money off the public's back on testing new drugs as now they will have to make it proper right off the bat
and would also require that any "bad" situations during testing be compensated for....."such as blindness"....where as animals never got such considerations
"oops we didn't think blindness was going to happen....".....lawyer"no problem, that will be 20 million please...."

    d) we will be a little more scrutinizing after each medical company says they are trying to do "this" or "that" as now the public knowing their lives
are being tested with, will be less willing to take risks for certain medications....."do we really need another hair dye on the market that testing might lead to blindness, when we already have 1 million types out there right now...."

All in all, I favor this, not only to avoid testing on animals, but I would love to see humans put in those positions rather the animals, and see the suffering and pain caused, and felt backwards, as we never really get to see how bad humans make life for other species on this planet....sort of like taking the human element out of it, we dont care, but put the human element into it, you will see a never ending flow of concern that animals never got about the testing conditions and etc....

These are supposed to be the experts that we give all our money for keepsake.... you would think they would not get involved into something that would put them in a bad position....but they do not care....as long as the profits are here and now....

I heard one bank in Iceland (because of time zone issues) knew the storm was about to hit, called up all their ultra rich clients and told them to take out big loans in the hundred of millions because they knew that these clients would be covered and their slates wiped clean....with a major profit from the money they just pocketed....

You can not cry over another countries policies (and only that one yet others are just as bad....) and then figure you can push them into what you want them to do....
I have lost some respect for the US government now....

I have this idea that someday the US will grow up to be the Nation it should be...the father of them all, and start offering assimilation packages to all countries out there...if the other country wants to join up, they get special privileges no other country has, a massive backbone....but all they r belongs to US....
they become another state that has to follow the constitution and the laws of the US. This would grow until there would be very few countries left (3rd world)
and only the big ones would be left, and by that time the US population would be so massive that it could dictate better living conditions for all states(countries) within it....and also make it officially a world union.

Let it happen naturally by offering this to others (instead of Hitler's way by taking that country over) and you will get down to one world nation with one set of rules, and those set of rules defined by the people....instead of dictators in other countries that tell the people what they want them to do....!!!
