I love doing this, especially when u program something, and get the call into the office...where u explain what VMWare is and does, which makes u look a little bit up to date compared to the old techie that just don't know his stuff. Then when the time comes to move up the ladder, you send your percentage back to VMWare in a white paper enveloppe, and kiss on the left cheek, then on the right...;p
I am so glad you mentioned VS.net...yes this tool can be used to do many "hacker" like things... I wonder if we showed the stupid leaders in parliament, this fact, then would they ban microsoft all together for creating such devious tools....;P
another reason why no one should upgrade to vista...please just put it out of its misery already. Bring out behind the shed and shoot it, let the penguin get caught holding the gun!
The problem is the controlled environment, in a car accident, you have time to slow down your thoughts per say to induce a boost of speed based on the fact that the danger is real, and you release adrenaline, which is directly associated with movement and speed of your neurons firing in the brain. The problem to do this test properly would require placing people in real danger and see if this sort of thing works. Also you would next have to control what it is you are doing, someone who almost never bothers to be AWARE of their environment would not be good subjects, you would have to use a group which are used to using those senses to see if there is an improvement. Someone who is blind will still be blind, someone who never trains their eyes to catch motion will not be as good as someone who does it regularly...like a detective noticing the evidence in a room would be a better subject then someone who lives in front of a computer all day long....guaranteed!
I agree with you, however, I do tend to believe having been to china myself that once the blueprint is out into the wild(aka china) then anything can be done as it is a country with very low standards of loyalty, they will resell almost anything to anyone, with cash....so this policy the us has is totally ignorant of the way things work everywhere else in the world and quite amusing to watch.... seriously..like the kid that says out loud to everyone else..."well I don't do that"...so good for you, doesnt stop anyone else from doing it!!!
Seems to me you are a very important piece of the government puzzle handling many people's information, and you are quoting millions of dollars to the budget to develop this site, stop pocketing the money and getting intern to do the job, and go see Microsoft directly and say you want a CRM solution that handles security on the internet etc....they will give it to you for peanuts compared to the real price tag as they are for governments using their products, the only thing we would have to worry about now is what Bill Gates would do with our info!
I tend to think that Google is the only company that stands a chance of slowing down the Microsoft monster we all have come to love. If Google can really upset the balance, by finding a better foothold, coming out with free web based tools that do exactly everything that our "windows" does, whether your a windows or linux user, then we do away with windows altogether right, then it becomes a Linux world as in free as in beer....which means that if Microsoft wants to stay competitive, they will have to put out more FREE stuff, yes vista for free, can you imagine, then Linux would have to come out with even cooler stuff to keep up etc....all because Google sees a future with free tools for everybody. I could even use my old Pentium II laptop now to do all my web stuff, and still be right up there with all the big boys running the big rigs without configuring my terminal server to log into the intranet etc...etc...
Dude..being a programmer, I would say he hit the nail on the head. If you write a virus NOWADAYS, you want no attention being brought to you or your bug, and certainly don't want to advertise. He will not disclose people or code to you, but his method is very common practice for sabotage in the work place.
I would consider him either very capable of creating or finding such virus out there to use at his work place. Script kiddies can do it, with no awareness of what corporate strategy is, someone with a bit of work experience can do damage, someone with full knowledge can create bankruptcy.
Nothing vague here, you just have to dig deeper in your own head as to the direction he is showing you...
Yeah I remember those good old days playing till 4 in the morning, with friends and pizza by my side, wondering how many more flint stones I could use up to ignite the molotove cocktails we had inside the dungeon to disperse the swarms of insects....woot, woot, if only they had played a bit of D&D with us, they could have figured this out at least 10 years before, and with alot less damage to their budget (roll for initiative...)
Seriously , I wonder how many more interesting facts that D&D could bring up based on the role play and imagination of kids to figure out compulsory behavior in individuals or swarms for that matter...
I'm sorry to say, it's all MS's fault. There is no qualms about this one, set out a patch to disable your system restore, then set up an app IE7 that is broken on the old system, too many coincidences for me, I have the latest patch for microsoft, although you need to do some install, here is the link at http://www.ubuntu_save_me_from_ms.com/....unfortunately I develop for windows platform, and use.NET extensively, but I am tired of seeing MS get away with these tactics... whenever I can I try to push companies to go linux, and set up the rest of the servers tey cant migrate on VMWare...as for me at home.....Linux....not cuz I love them, only cuz they do what they say.
I agree with you, also though, if the individual they caught was host to a worm that was trying this stuff out, by lets say an organized crime faction or terrorist cell, this would prove to be tests on their part...so that when the real thing happened, they could cut off the link to the event in question and stop any backup or help from arriving!!!
Then I will recant my previous statement slightly, to say that many individuals tend to critize without fully knowing first hand the experiences lived by the population there. I live in Canada, and keep tabs on current events in other countries such as Brasil, such as the governments move towards linux based systemes in the work place etc. But I would never make assumptions about living conditions.
I enjoy hearing much from other countries and fear our media seems to hide or deface news from other countries, and feel thankful for individuals like you that can bring first hand information on such situations...my sincerest apologies, I never meant to ofeend, merely to validate the source of info.
Actually it would not be so unethical....follow me on this one... I develop a list of people I have solicited to join a program to install malware that deletes other malware...so you have to join to get in...sort of like the google free process project. Then once joined you always go back to the website...that installs the malware from the login screen onced logged in, so if the new malware was ever erased by a BAD malware, it would redownload everytime.
Make the login process interesting that someone wants to relog everyday...sort o like slashdot...i read their stories everyday....everyday i would download the GOOD malware. I would give permission knowingly to make the internet a better place...and the ads on the site would pay for having this service free....compared to the many malware and AV today that still dont really work...
I would have to say if the discussion is about the amount or the way the taxes are paid , it would to be a general discussion, but there are too many black holes in our information about this situation to start making assumptions about a specific countries tax system, unless someone has first hand experience.
You can't either use your parents as a point of reference on this, unless they have worked in Brazil , as the public servant positions there, greatly differ from ours here. The amount of corruption is also a factor. You have to remember that although we like to bitch, we have it pretty good in north america, wether you talk about canada or usa.
I would love to hear from a politicians point of view about working in that country. Although I am sure a lot of b*llsh*t would be vocalized as any politcian would, I tend to think you would be enlightened as to the situations over there....
I see pollution of another kind here....yes plastics are not good, when we build them we cant recycle them so to speak without causing a lot of pollution, but we could always grind them down, and then use them as filler or something, but now that is solid as steel, how the hell would we grind them???
Anyone have links about the recycling of plastics, would be a welcomed response, as I have a small interest in knowing about this.
I have sent numerous emails to google r&d suggesting such things as multiple mailbox pointers, where no matter who has that email containing this or that, if they are the same email, then only keep one copy of the attachment in it...this would drastically shorten space, as well I have also mentioned, seeing as many poeple use the emails as a FAMILY or GROUP box, add some sort of admin user access and guest user access(who cant delete or modify, only read the emails)...
I never had any PHP problems using the ActivePhp install (or Perl for that matter) when I used to install them on my windowsxp pro versions, only when I tired to install on the windows 2003 servers, that WoW...what a f** job that was, so much research because of the problems for installing it....which is actually really the reason why I think they came out with this.
Read the documentation from a googled server 2003 php install and you will see it takes even the best of them to get it going. You have to play with access permissions, cgi rules, redo extensions that get screwed up on install...I imagine this makes it all that much easier, but it always worked on windowsxp before...quite beatifully too!
I love doing this, especially when u program something, and get the call into the office...where u explain what VMWare is and does, which makes u look a little bit up to date compared to the old techie that just don't know his stuff. Then when the time comes to move up the ladder, you send your ;p

look at radiohead new business model, which worked quite well, considering the amount of piracy out there.
G....O.....O....G....L....E

I did not know this...too bad :(
My solution, don't use Facebook....

As posted befoe, most of the components that are used by russians are also used by americans, being made in taiwan...
