It took that long to get patented, and we know that utorrent and bittorrent use those, but came out before said 2007 approval....so how does that work? I mean if someone applies for a patent, and does not get it, in the mean time someone else develops similar technology and uses that tech, is it really infringing, as the courts have been really slow to put the patent through, and it is possible that more then one person has a similar idea, so when scientist #2 looks at the patent list and sees nothing about his tech (as scientist#1 has still no approval) scientist #2 thinks the cost is clear, is it really his fault that the patent office is so f*ckin slow??? is there no law for this type of situation as well, I mean it is surely not the first time something like this happened??
I am all for this, if the government wants to be really stupid and start trying to censor documents they have no right to, and then put someone (framed? who really knows) behind bars for shedding a little light on certain political practices that leave to be desired, I would say they have it coming..... just like when the Egyptian government was stupid in cutting off access to internet to "control" their people.....if we allow the government to continue doing whatever the f*ck it wants, then we are just as much to blame.

After reading your post, I would never, ever, EVER do business with Bitcoin, or anyone using bitcoin, the sheer stupidity of it is appalling. I am not sure how anyone gets into these schemes...but all in all, it shows how little people really do research in things these days...especially something that is supposed to be considered recognized legal tender of sorts.
First part is that wall street keeps scooping up all the engineers to solidify its hold on the economy. By doing this, they have all the smartest people working for them. Second part is because we have gotten in the habit of outsourcing all our stuff, all the engineers need to go overseas for those contracts....why they are not at home, I guess we could blame Obama for letting companies outsource all the time....maybe have a new law that charges big taxes on companies that outsource their work to other countries, atleast make back some of the money lost during crisis, and maybe even set up university programs for engineers to have a discount(50%) if they sign a 5 year contract stating they have to stay and work within the US....

In all seriousness, the only thing i could see attributing to the fact that these programmers just don't check their code is that they are all students, and maybe 1 or 2 senior programmers, and of which keeps changing regularly, so much so that the standards of coding are barely followed, and no peer review on the code, and maybe not even a proper QC form being used to go through all the possible flaw situations.
Microsoft atleast has a gazillion products to review, and their teams are immense.....the office team barely speaks to the visual studio team, who barely speak to the sharepoint team, etc....so when bugs happen, it is almost understood based on the sheer volume of code and apps available from them... but adobe has no such repertoire, especially being we are only talking about 2 major ones with all the flaws...flash and reader
Here comes the worst decision possible.....can you make hack stuff using visual studio, of course you can, guess what, you now have made the use and selling of visual studio illegal.....they are such dolts its not funny! I hate politicians that have no knowledge of technology! How much space will this take, vs. windturbines or other such techs.....i mean the problem is these arrays are all radar shaped, no? so the biggest is going to take a big chunk of land with almost no real capacity for upward development, where as an empty but full blown 120 story skyscraper in the middle of the desert, with all that solar panel paint they have been talking about might be able to generate alot more energy for alot less space horizontally, as well, you can also make many skyscrapers side by side....being they will be empty also might make it less costly to built.

If all the nuclear waste was sent to an island like hawaii that had a volcano, then all the materials were sent down inside the volcano, would that not sort of take care of all the crap we deal with such as contamination and all....I know it sounds stupid in sorts, but if someone gave me 10000 tons of nuclear waste to dispose of, and 10 millions dollars to do it, i would transport it there, and drop it in, no worries of barrels leaking, water being contaminated, etc....all would be disintegrated.

I think you can replace zombie invasion with virus contamination, or swarm infestation, etc.... the idea is that something is able to spread at an abnormal rate, will you be able to contain it.....someone coughs and spreads a virus, the next one gets it, and so on, whether a zombie bites you, and then you bite someone else, or someone coughs on you, it is the same, disease containment is the point of the story, and the fact they actually could not see the real issue, is pretty sad. Zombie movies just add a laughable factor into it, or entertainment without feeling bad for all those dying, but those people are dying as well from those zombie bites, yet we don't feel bad, we instead laugh....

I am one of the ultimate fans for XMen, had all the lines growing up...from original, to uncanny, excalibur, new mutants, wolverine, morlocks, special spin off series (like collosus and rogue), cable, gambit, etc....
I have to say I am impressed sometimes with how nice they make things work, at first i thought the choice for sabretooth would be bad, but that actor really turned out well, although they did not go deep enough for my liking in the story for origins, they took you deep enough to give the real fans a glimpse and say we could have done more, but budget allowed us to do this....they had the chops but not the budget.....
Also deadpool (would be a great spin off movie in itself...) was a treat and a half.... Sometimes....you do get treated well for showing glimpses...but sometimes I agree they take things too far off the written comic book path, and then starts feuds about why did they change timelines etc....
I for one, never knew that juggernaut was Xavier's brother Cain Marco....or something like that (google it!)...and thought would be a great xmen4 with the intro of Collosus as well...but we'll not see that, as just too many story lines all in all.
My point is when you extend the amount or volume or story lines side by side for all that happened within the xmen stories...from Kitty marrying that underdweller from the Morlocks and Storm becoming their leader.....to the Xmen meeting Mojo, to hellfire club (real time line happened with wolverine and collosus present, and the development of Dark Phoenix)...to having the Beyonder like new Phoenix (daughter from future)...with the Sentinels and Nimrod....to...I could go on forever... it would add up to all the movies that came out over the last year.
I remember when/. first covered the device fingerprinting method that was developed by some chinese kid using all sorts of details and flags to build the end fingerprint, which a 99% accuracy rate (supposedly reviewed by his peers at that time) some 10 years ago.....is this the same thing? I don't know...but I am sure that he may be wanting compensation if they are using his code and not paying him.
