Ok when movies like Star Wars come out with visible advanced knowledge that such things do exist, either it leads me to believe that many humans on this earth are really aliens mascarading as us and enjoying lives of financial freedom due to the use of knowledge that no one else would know... George....I know u r really an alien and actually just brought your story from another galaxy where you came from as a regular story of what your life was like back there...

That the probability that all things no matter how far fetched do exist, and at some point we might be run over by an army of goblins and ogres like in Lord of the rings...Gandalf might need to be brought out of his deep cryogenic freeze once again.... or wait was that Demolition Man...?

I could also have employees that on average make 75,000 and up per year, and consider that an insult (being they only got THAT bonus...not to be added to the already existing bonus from their company)....300$ is not worth a reply or extra karma points from them, while a months pay to a chinese employee...is a lot!!!

    >2. Don't visit suspicious websites and don't open suspicious email attachments.
They do not know in advance if a site is suspicious....until someone detects it...
I can also write javascript code that morphs continuously so that no entity (google) will
    permanently block my sites...

and if I don't open email attachments, what is the use of email at all then....
I want to send some files in my email to my boss for review,....
if you say no attachments should be open, that makes emails useless...
and you and I both know even if you trust the source, emails can still contain viruses...

    >3. Use a good antivirus that monitors your internet traffic.
AV software don't monitor IP traffic, firewalls do....get an AV with a built in firewall...
Most firewalls bundled with AV are not on the same level as corporate level firewalls....
they are inferior, and only work when people know what to look for...in advance...
most people don't know how to use firewalls...and wont take the time too....
hence why firewalls are useless to a regular end user...

Who made you the decider that the human race was better then all other living beings
and could use those species to their own ends!!!

I would love for an superior intellectual alien race to come down and start doing to us
all in the same name of their medicine, what we have been doing to all these poor living creatures...
To test all these supposed "needed" medicines....ie- special shampoo for scalp treatments being dripped into
the eyes of the creature...to see if it will be tearless...
because we are so vain we need another dandruff shampoo ..
like the 1001 shampoos out there just aren't enough....

I have given up on humanity's goodness a long time ago....except for one culture....
Once humanity is brave enough to experiment on their own kind, and allow progress to actually

Having said this, if a failure on a hdd is eminent, you usually have it raided, so even if one fails, the transaction logs can be recreated.
This sounds like they managed to find a way to incorporate the writing to db log files unto the ssd itself, then transfer over to a hdd, but I wonder if during failure, you would lose 100% of the transaction logs due to that ssd not working. Anyone out there could answer this question?
