Correction .... Company that spends billions to acquire headphone company which sells it's wireless headphones at a $100 premium .... removes headphone jack.

The same people that buy iPhones b/c they are made by Apple are the same people who buy Beats by Dre b/c of all the hype behind them. It's a brilliant business move. Will definitely sell more wireless Beats once this phone comes out.

  2. Headphones I plug into my iPhone work in an Android phone...

Except that Apple decided a long time ago to swap the mic & ground pins on the 4-pin headphone jack and break that compatibility. Now you have to buy Android or Apple headphones which have volume and play/pause buttons on them. Because Apple couldn't possibly have a connector that is actually standard. That'd break their business model of "give me your money".

I HAVE NO TOOLS BECAUSE I’VE DESTROYED MY TOOLS WITH MY TOOLS. My only logging option is to hire monks to transcribe the subjective experience of watching my machines die as I weep tears of blood.”

It's not really secretly if the camera is in open view ... plus the part of the law which says "a reasonable person would believe that the person’s sexual or other intimate parts would not be visible to the public" doesn't really apply when you are running around naked.

Not only that ... but if you are running around naked in public then you can be charged with public indecency and charged as a sex offender. So your "profit" would go towards your own lawyer to get you off the sex offender's list.

Not knowing where you live or have lived anywhere with HOV lanes ... wouldn't the Tesla also get access to the HOV lane because it is electric? Seems odd they would allow only certain EVs to use it. I know many places used to allow hybrids to use HOV and have since removed this benefit due to the number of them increasing greatly, but picking and choosing certain all electric cars to use it is a dangerous thing for a government to do as it would be seen as "picking sides" or favoritism.

Agreed ... I have driven a number of electric cars and the Leaf was definitely had the best "feel". It felt much more like the gas cars I was used to than any of the others. I have not driven the Model S, but did get a chance to drive the Roadster ... and this is just not a fair comparison. The fun factor there is just too high to do any real comparisons.

Because then there is no way of telling who actually installed the updates. And if a user doesn't install them it is still the manufacturer's fault when it fails and kills them. With dealer updates they can at least track who has and hasn't installed it and keep pestering those who haven't to get the update.
