What about Media Player Classic Home Cinema? I use both. I use MPC-HC more than VLC. Both are great.

W8's desktop usability just sucks for keyboard and mouse users. :(
Ditto. I didn't think Vista was horrible. It was better than Windows Me, 8, etc. IMO. I'd rather use Vista over 8 and Me! :O

I know a lot of people who still use CRT like old people like my parents. I even use a Sharp 20" CRT TV from 1996! We will replace them when we need to.
