For me, I still use XP Pro. SP3, Linux/Debian, and Mac OS X 10.5.8 because they work fine. I don't game anymore (maybe a few Flash games once in a while, but very rare), mostly surf, watch videos, listen to music, etc. I don't do anything fancy. I still have old MS Office 2000 SR-3 and LibreOffice and OpenOffice, but they are rarely used.
I use port 22 because some places block that port and don't want have to go to another box, or set up proxies. I do use DenyHosts to block attackers after three failed attempts.

What brand of toothbrush was it? ;)

I am going to wait until they finish the mod fully so they can work out bugs and I don't have to replay with newer versions. :)

Thanks. :)
Wow. I only have essential programs and services in my old Windows XP Pro. SP3 machine. No problems.
DEP for all programs or just essential Windows programs and services?
Which Windows' security features? I wasn't aware of this. :(
Windows 9 too. :P

I have it disabled 99% of the times. My work's time card system and online classes/courses require Java. Lame, I know! :(

Ants need one like me. My friend keeps saying ants should not use computers. :(

I wonder why the libraries don't turn off their wireless when they are closed.
