You can get the DVD and video clips from Animusic to see the ATI Animusic's Pipe Dream Demo. Also, ATI has the demo if you have an high-end ATI video card which is better because you can control the camera view IIRC!
When the summer heat begins to bake Las Vegas, the last thing you want to be doing is hoofing it around town from one hotel casino to the next. To solve the problem, the Vegas city planners have implemented a solution reminiscent of Disneyland -- a monorail! Now, before you start recalling old Simpson's episodes, bear in mind that this is no ordinary monorail. The Las Vegas version will stop at seven stations covering a four mile circuit around town. Traveling at speeds up to 50 m.p.h., the journey will take approximately 14 minutes. The monorail should alleviate some traffic and also encourage people to visit multiple venues, including the Las Vegas Hilton, featuring Star Trek:The Experience, Quark's and the new "Borg Invasion 4D."
When the monorail finally opens this summer, at least one of the trains will appear Borgified on the outside. For an unspecified period of time, this car will carry a promotional message to visit the all-new "Borg Invasion 4D" attraction. Until then, the car is still visible, often times parked outside the Hilton.
For those paying a visit to the Hilton, you can swing by Quark's and feast on a revamped menu, complete with some new, powerful sounding drinks like the "Borg Sphere" and the "Warp Core Breach."
Food wise, you may want to sample such apetizing items as the Targ Empanadas, Chakotay Pizzette or the Coconut Tribble Skewer. Added to the exotic drinks (The James Tea Kirk is a fave) the menu at Quark's is a veritable feast of great Star Trek puns.

As far as I see, everyone seems to like it over the first movie! I hope I can catch the flick this Monday with friends. I didn't love the first one, but it was enjoyable. I hope the second one is a lot better.:)
I recently played the free 14-days trial (still available). I was impressed and see how it can be addicting even though the game was choppy on my aging Athlon XP 2200+ machine with an ATI Radeon 9800 AIW (128 MB) video card. I have to say that a lot of has changed according to the timeline (quite funny too).
I hope City of Heros will be doing the same when it reaches its one year anniversary. I will have to check this game out after I upgrade my system and when I have more free time in a few months.

DrMrLordX: NP! Have fun! I have to admit this game was hard as I remember as a kid.:)
I hope id Software will release a playable demo or test for us to check out the game before the game goes gold like with their previous games. Also, we can find bugs and other issues to make their games great.
Yeah, I was using NVIDIA driver. Note that this was about 1-2 years ago in Red Hat Linux 7.2. I wasn't impressed so I stuck with Windows OS. Also, did you get 3D sound and EAX support? Mine were greyed out IIRC in WineX.
The part where Mike Mevilla opened a bag of M&Ms and the candies went flying? I saw it on news, but it was freaky short! Do you know where I can watch the whole video online?
The last time I played Diablo 2 and other older games, EAX wasn't supported and the performance wasn't so great compared to Windows on an Athlon 2200 XP system. Has this this been resolved?
I hope ATI can catch up to compete because their current Linux drivers are terrible. I am disappointed. :(

I heard Carlos's comment on KTLA 5's morning news today. It was quite funny!

I subscribe and read Better Software Magazine. Yes, it is expensive but it is worth it since it fits my job. :)
Other magazines include Wired. Other computer magazines but I get those for free from friends, family members, and relatives.

Chairboy, how about just using HTML tag like here? ;)
BTW, nice bike! I hope to see it soon.
This online emulator is cooler as long as the Web browser is Internet Explorer and has ActiveX enabled. :)

Remember, this a virtual pinball machine customized by people to match the real thing. At least, you don't have to repair these emulations.
Also, you need Windows for them. I'd love to see MacOS X and Linux ports.
It's not me for sure. [grin]
here for Basic right now.
See here. [grin] ;)
eLinks for a fancy text Web browser (better than Lynx and Links in my opinion) and tin for text newsreader.

Without the HDTV tuner, then this antenna is useless. Am I correct? Also, is this a small indoor antenna type (e.g., rabbit ears)?
I see a lot of TV channels in my city. Awesome. I need to save up for a new video card with integrated HDTV tuner. No, I don't have a big screen TV.
EAX adds echos, reverbs, all kinds of sound effects. Like in Half-Life, walking on metallic floors sounds like a metallic floor.

Funny title, but this is a good PC demo review site.

Are the prices and dates similiar?
