... because I have a speech impediment so I can't communicate verbally very well. Internet and BBS were a big welcome to my life. I rarely even use telephones and don't need TDD devices anymore.
Does this program let you set scheduled recordings and watch it as "TV-On-Demand" in realtime? ATI's MMC doesn't let me do this for scheduled recordings.
Since I am an impatient guy, I wanted to make my external USR Sportster 33.6k modem to dial faster with initialization string parameters.
Well, it was the middle of the night (3 am?) and I was a teenager. I made the modem dial fast, but one of the BBS phone number started out with 914... Well, the modem accidently dialed 911. I didn't have the modem speaker loud enough so I didn't hear 911 operator. Then, a cop came by after a few minutes. My folks weren't happy that day.
Postal 2: Share the Pain demo for GNU/Linux (posted 2003-12-25 05:16:36 by icculus):
Just in time to relieve all that Holiday stress, a demo version of Postal 2: Share the Pain is now available for GNU/Linux systems.
"Share the Pain" adds multiplayer gametypes to the previously single-player only Postal 2, with its mature-rated attitude (Capture the Flag is called "Snatch", and involves stealing the other team's, uh, mascot...you get the point). The multiplayer gametypes are fully network compatible with the Windows players.
The package contains a complete DEMO version of the game, featuring one abbreviated single player level, and a few multiplayer maps for your enjoyment. The full, commercial version of Postal 2 for Linux will be available soon (and rumor has it there will be a Linux boxed version, so please don't run out and buy the Windows version in preparation just yet). The package also contains the Linux dedicated server.
Postal 2 has some rather explicit content. Don't download it if you're a small child or easily offended.
Star Trek: First Contact DVD, a shirt, and money. Nothing special there and I didn't really need anything since I already bought myself cool stuff recently.:)
Texas Instrument 99/4A was my first computer. My father bought one so I could learn to use a computer except I learned to use it for games. I was into Atari 2600 games and arcades (e.g., Pac-Man).
Recently, I finally got TI99/4A to work in MESS emulator. The instructions can be found here in case anyone is interested. Some of those games still rule!:)

The driver is fine, but I wished I could use my All-In-Wonder card features like TV tuner! Also, I would love to use Linux for PVR. MythTV doesn't work with ATI's drivers.:(
you can get Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256MB USB Flash Drive for $49.99! That's a good price that I bought two (one for myself and one for my father [still uses 3.5" disks as well!]). The local store I went to had PLENTY!!
Does anyone here actually don't use the wheel feature on amouse? I don't really like it because I do not have an index finger (four fingers on both of my hands since I was born with multiple physical disabilities). Same for middle button.:(
for the old machine and as a backup.
I still prefer CRTs over flatscreen LCDs. Even at work, I was offered for LCD flatscreens, but I told them to give me CRTs for work.
LCDs are fine for laptops, but not for desktop to me. I will get a flatscreen LCD when its technology improves enough to match CRTs.

Muahaha, I am the overlord of ants. Bow to me!

Good story. :)

DOH!
here. Sorry, I need more caffeine!
link. [grin]
According to the free basic player (Windows and Linux), v10 player is still in beta.
Can this program be used a Windows/MacOS X/Linux screen saver to collect images? I'd love to show this program off at work. ;)
Desert Combat. I wonder if Iraqis would be offended to play this mod.
How about putting MAME and a few arcade games? ;) KnoppiXMAME.
I would like to use encrypted passwords but most providers do not have encryption password feature for POP3 on their side. :(
Rudy, maybe she only wants specific songs, not the whole CD!

Set 12/25 and you will get a Christmas theme in Rise of the Triad game. There are other Easter eggs for other holidays too!

I guess Gollum Rapping music video is a blooper that wasn't included on the DVD sets. ;)
