I remember when Action Quake2 was popular, Linux port wasn't very good. For example, the skin filenames were different because Windows didn't care about case sensitivity, but Linux's port did. It was frustrating during the first few months.

Same here. I would love to see a remake of this. I remember someone made a parody of it a few years ago. I forgot the title of it. Does anyone remember?

Lately, the demos weren't very good like the classic Future Crew's Second Reality demo. Maybe this year will have something good.
GoScreen is the answer to Windows. I didn't like MS' virtual desktop manager and others out there. This one I love because it is so small. It's not free though, but it is worth paying. Ir works from Windows 95 to the newest OS.

Customize your own boot CD. I have MemTest86, PartitionMagic, Norton Ghost, etc.
It works great. No more 3.5" disks for each program.
This mod has potiential, but the graphics for most models are weak like guns. Even the interior base in the mountains are ugly. I love the snow landscape. Hopefully, the mod will be improved a lot later on. I will leave the mod uninstalled until it gets better. Back to Desert Combat and Eve of Destruction mods.:)

Are there any good local stores in Los Angeles, CA, USA that carry a large selection of CRT monitors? It is hard to find a good monitor brand and model.

Just a note. The trailer only shows rendered scenes. I am sure the gameplay isn't like that. ;)
FTP takes too long due to login and stuff. I meant something like Network Neighborhood and Windows Explorer. I use it with Samba for Linux boxes.
