The more you limit or restrict something, the more children (and all humans) are naturally drawn to it by curiosity. If they can't access it on their home computer, they will do it somewhere else. I think the only way, is to teach your child what is and isn't appropriate. But when the time comes they will go looking for it anyway.
But this only works for children of a certain age.

Yea, now it will only be 17 DVDs every 8 months or so.
IMHO, still not a viable solution for your backup needs. Or perhaps you can lower the amount you need to backup.
Maybe I'm talking out of my ass, but I thought I heard something about dual sided DVD discs. Anyone know anything about that? Could there eventually be dual sided dual layered discs? That'd be sweet, 100 GB capacity!
I'm just waiting for the horrid day where you are able to smell the programs on TV. Or sure, sounds great for the cooking shows, but what the "secret doorway" in Desperado? (FYI, it was a bathroom stall with shit spread all over the walls)
Why is the gov't bothering to regulate a hobby the countless people have participated it, that unless my memory fails me, has never posed a threat to this so called "national security" myth.
Their time and our money could be better spent in other ways. (I've got no clue where, which is why I'm not running for office.) Model rocketry has been one of my favorite hobbies for years, and i have never heard of it being misused in a way that warrants attraction from the federal government.
If anyone bother to RTFA (but hey this is/. so that's too much to ask) it would tell you the hypothesized downside.
Muscle cells are surrounded by immature satellite cells that lie dormant until the muscle is injured. Then they migrate into the muscle, replacing injured or dead cells. A recent paper indicated that myostatin might normally function to keep satellite cells quiescent. Without myostatin, he said, the satellite cells might be so active building muscle that they become depleted early in life.
So they worry that the muscle growth will stop, and eventually reverse without the cells to repair.
You're right; downloading the music isn't the problem. Keeping it is.
You are allowed to download any mp3 that you want, hell download them all. But if you don't legally own media (i.e. cd, tape, vinyl) you are "supposed" to delete them in 24 hrs.
Of course you can prevent uploading, if fact I do, but if everyone does; there won't be any more P2P suckers to leach off of.;)
I don't know about anyone else, but these "sue to scare" tactics just don't worry me. They have failed to change my computing in anyway.
I still download music; in fact, I may download more, just to site them. IMHO I feel they are just alienating more people with each lawsuit.
I'd love to click them, provided you wrap them in the proper tags, too bad I'm too lazy to copy and paste....
quarterly dividend payments of $0.08 a share (up from $0.16 annually) so... ((4*.08) = .32) > ((1*.16)= .16)
Just smoke up before playing, no one would be able to beat you!
It was his right arm? Aw, shit. No wonder why the stupid reader wasn't working......
Good idea, but every five mins wouldn't be helpfull. We've sent severs to their death in under a min...
IDK, without the pretty pictures, it just seems less interesting
1. IMHO Firefox is cleaner and lighter
2. I believe it will work when you set Firefox as the default browser
3. Yes but you can set it to close when download is complete
Who would have thought it? The government saying something intelligent; about 5 years too late, but better later then never.....
I wonder if SETI will examine these areas more closely.....
Probably just the ones in our solar system......
It's a $100 REBATE. Means you still have to buy Dell's crap.....

And here I was thinking that I might actually get to see the clip. But alas, all I saw was a 30 sec long logo. Silly me, I must be new here.

In my unofficial survey, I've found that 83.46% of all "sick days" taken by computers are caused by user error.
"What do you mean I wasn't supposed to delete that file?"
On another note, 99.99992% of computers work harder then the user.
Aren't flat TVs depth challenged rather then vertically challenged? Unless of course you lay it on the ground and stand over it to watch it.....
