AT&T works quite well in Las Vegas where I live. I really do not travel that often so for my needs it works perfectly. That being said I don't agree with the practices of these carriers, but AT&T certainly is not the only one trying to pull stunts like this.
Especially considering dropbox is in the cloud. I have a Truecrypt container in dropbox but i always unmount it when not in use otherwise i can't really open it somewhere else and preserve the integrity.
Truecrypt works really nicely with dropbox, even if an attacker gets your Truecrypt file, they would still need the password to get the files inside of it.
I am surprised you never got modded up for this...
Just curious, why didn't the drunk driver get nailed for the costs?
The drunk driver had no job (surprise) and I got some money from the uninsured motorist ($30K) minus lawyer fees (33%.. greedy bastards). I kept that money even though I filed bankruptcy. If I had sued and got lucky enough to get anything it would have gone to the insurance company till the $30K was covered. Seemed pointless.
That is true. I was hit by a drunk driver and I had no medical insurance. My hospital bill was $82,000. This was 7 years ago, but my credit is still be affected because I was hit by a drunk driver. That is the beautiful world we live in without medical insurance in the US.
Agreed. There are too many different distributions of the Linux Operating System to release certain Linux versions. Besides, they can't even do the Windows version right, what makes you think they can even do a Linux version?
That is a very good point. I think that the people smart enough to consider this question might very well educate themselves on the issue and actually vote though.
To even consider this question as important means that they are probably going to vote. Those who don't care about voting or politics wouldn't even consider this question in the first place no mater how intelligent they are.
So have we decided which one will come out first between Duke Nukem Forever and Windows Vista? Personally, I don't care if Windows Vista ever comes out. I am not going to use it because I like Linux better. Not because I hate Microsoft, that would not be a good reason. The reason is that Linux does what I want it to and I know it inside and out.
I disagree about the average user not saturating their pipe. There are quite a few users I know that do not know anything about computers except how to hop on aol and connect to the file sharing music sites. And believe me, there are more than you think out there that are doing this. And of course they eventually get viruses, pay to get the computer fixed, and start the process all over again.
I agree, end users don't know how to tell a phishing scam email from a real one. I wonder if this particular scam had them email their ssn or go to a web page to put it in. If there is a different web page that it goes to than the link says thunderbird will warn you, but most people use Outlook Express.
I am sure AT&T got a lot of calls about this from end users and the phishers probably got some peoples SSNs.
I don't see any end to this sort of activity any time soon.
I was really addicted from December 2004 till around March 2006. I even introduced my wife to WoW. She met someone on there and left me and now is with him or something lol. But now I am playing wow again just not wasting all my life away with it.
I still think it is a really fun game.

How many home burglars know how to scan the memory contents of the computer for the information necessary to get the password?

Of course they got rid of him! How dare the poorer class schools be able to progress!
Because hes not an anonymous coward....
Now why on earth would someone do that? People will only use this for good! People are good!
My uninsured motorist was only $30K and she had no insurance/license. Guess what it was suspended for!

Inconceivable!!
This just goes to show what America is all about. Law suits, they make the world go round.
I am using firefox and adblock plus. No wonder adblock plus blocked the video. It thought it was an ad lol!

You mean shoot them 28 times?

I wouldn't be surprised if these machines were the reason Bush got elected to a second term!

Thanks, I was thinking about trying it, but I would have realized too late probably not to use my old profile :)
Duck and Cover!!

I think the guy has some good ideas for how to get it back up and in the mix, but who knows how long that will take.
