  1. Re:Thanks a lot Apple on Rio Brand Closes Doors · · Score: 1

Oh please. Of course something is more expensive if you can't do it yourself. Computers, driving, your statement could be applied to any kind of service. Plus what kind of Rio do you have? Does it have a harddrive, or is it flash based? What kind of screen does it have?

Are you a moron? 1. It does not cost 60$ to replace your iPod battery, its costs as low as 30$ + My Battery has lasted over the last 19 months! 2. It supports MP3! Do you need a more ubiquitous format?

  4. Ugh this is stupid. on Nerdcore Rap In The Press · · Score: 1

This is not nerdcore hip-hop. Nerdcore hip-hop is the Definitive Jux Label (El-P, Aesop Rock) and Anticon label (Dose One, 13&God, cLOUDDEAD). This is just gangsta rap with stereotypical "nerd" subject matter.

Well it does have a seperate "konspose" layer that is hidden (i think F8 is the key) Anyways, this minimizes clutter, i ran my calculator, note pad, calender, etc. in that layer, on my desktop i only had wi-fi meter, and digital clock (easier to read).

Its definetely a cool thing to have, but you are right the UI still feels... Handicapped, as of a lack of a better word. This gives me hope though as the Linux community is unleashing the iPod's potential and opening doors for us commercial programmers.

  20. Re:Not surprising... on Moore Approves Fahrenheit 9/11 Downloads · · Score: 1

no offence, but i dont see how he deserved his Palm when most of the time his humor and logic is flawed.

For example: When the congressmen are asked to sign up their sons or daughters:

    1. Even if they wanted to, they couldn't. Thats the beauty of america. If you want to go, then go to the army, if not then don't. I wouldn't blame the parents.

    2. If i was on my cell phone and i saw michael moore approaching me, i would run as well. Better than having your words edited to the point where it seems like you said something you had no intention of saying.

    3. No one wants their sons or daughters to go to war. If i was in their[the congressmen's] position i would use all my available power to keep my son/daughter here in the states.

I do understand the point he was trying to make, but when you step back and look at logic, his actions seem equivelent to that of a jackass. /rant
